  1. I agree though the DNC, DCCC and IADP as they exist today need to come to an end, too. They are insider saboteurs comprised of connected grifters, professional wrong people, and profiteers. They are part of the rot.

    1. @J G no doubt trump has asked for russian help because it is a fact no Republican can win without cheating

  2. I actually agree with Senator Durbin. Iowa is NOT a diverse state. Why they should be first to cast their vote? 🤷🏾‍♀️

    1. @Avenger …. If we fight and work hard, and keep in mind that “right matters”, we could find something about this country to salvage.

  3. The Democratic process if you can call it that in the U.S. is dead, money killed it, it dosent exist , it is an illusion, and one that

    1. Bugsea…I refer to it as ultra capitalism…it is a pretty obscene, extreme version that is alienating huge parts of the country, and is clearly unsustainable. The question is will Americans change it, or will it collapse and be replaced by something else…I see a collapse on the lines of USSR into a number of smaller nation states…Confederacy#2, West Coast Liberalism, Midwest Opioidia, eastern Elitia.

  4. So there is actually no one who has the courage or character, who is willing to step up and do the right thing? I m sure that among the people, the citizens
Of America, have many ideas on how it could be done!

    1. It is not the Iowa people fault. The Republicans caucus ran smoothly with no issues. The Democracts caucus app had problems days before the election. The phone (traditional method) backup also failed. This major failure is an example of persistence failures of Democrats and their policies in action.
The Iowa caucus “Shadow, Inc” app is just Democrats “learning to code”, because President Trump wins 2020.

    1. @Bams Kamm what was the net intake at the time in comparison after tariffs, new business and new trade? Did the previous admins bring in revenue everytime each one of them doubled nearly tripled the deficit by the end of their terms? TRUMP blows them away with his negotiation and now we are going to hold them accountable for racketeering our taxes through military and foreign aid packages including honey deals for the families..its called nepotism and its illegal for Gov’t officials.

    2. Economic statistics in the year 2015 showed the USA possessed 46.7% of all the wealth in the world. It would behoove us all to use our God-given minds to wrap it around the simple question of; How on earth is it possible to even consider having a deficit if the USA, being one of the 198 countries in the world but owning 46.7% of all the wealth? HOW?!!

    3. Nathaniel Perez YOU, my friend just spoke a truth so piercingly that I fear it seared right through the average American mind in its simplicity. We have officially become ‘gangsta nation’ so if , as it seems, the nation can be forced to accept a trial, any trial without witnesses in a Senate whose salaries are paid in part by you and I, then of course those same actors can effectively use the ruse of “deficit” at will.
The US owns 46.7% of all the wealth in the world. How can there be a deficit?

    1. @carmay3600 Get rid of the Electoral College so that everyone’s vote will count. Electoral College is why we have a racist, White Supremacist in our White House.

    2. @K M …..Your reasoning is exactly what I tell people as to why I support my position to keep the Electoral College. Without it we would have about 6 states and between one and two dozen cities with the highest population density deciding every election. Everywhere else it would be a waste of time, money and energy to cast a ballot at all.

    3. @David C Did you vote to adopt USMCA? Did you vote to impeach Trump? Of course you didn’t. You voted on someone else to speak on your behalf. Not rocket science.

    1. Jasmine So you think you’re smarter than the founding fathers? Can you name three of the founding fathers without looking it up on google? No?

    2. @charles mcgowen do you have any idea what America was like when the founding fathers were alive? There were only colonies for God sakes. Population? Obviously not. It not about being smarter than the founding fathers, because there most certainly are more educated people now than 300 year’s ago. It’s about making appropriate changes to the process that is better suited for how America has changed. Because it most certainly has changed.

    3. @Raivan Talley The Constitution has worked for America for over 200 years, and America is the greatest country in the world because of the Constitution. The founding fathers were very wise.

  5. he’s right. trump will stop at NOTHING to win. a sociopath has no conscience or shame, so even an impeachment will have no affect on his behavior.

    1. his foulness of character is only surpassed by his stupidity.
the awful smell of him and his family in White House will take an awful lot of bleach to remove it in 2020.
and all that tacky gold decor put in. looks like a brothel in Russia.

    2. And you are saying this about his behavior. Do you remember in 2016 when the DNC managed to sink Bernie in order to give Hillary a boost, so I guess the DNC should also be shamed.

    3. Some you are blaming Trump for this???? The DNC saw Crazy Bernie winning and now has Donna Brazel filling out paper ballots in the middle of an Iowa corn field.🦄💩🏳️‍🌈

  6. Dems in Maine have ditched the caucus system of voting. It is antiquated and difficult to manage and leaves out large groups of people who can’t spend hours sitting around in a gymnasium late at night playing a version of Hunger Games. It is confusing, archaic and undemocratic. Iowa should join 21st century and have a straight primary voting process.

  7. And here I was thinking that the United States Senate was a democratic institution. Turns out it isn’t much different than any other “Banana Republic” run by a two-bit thug and his cronies. Silly me.

    1. @Alex Hamilton The Senate doesn’t reflect the voters weight. It’s a static arrangement based on geography, not
      on representation.
It’s been a plague in various countries for the same reason.

    1. Señor MeinKrafter2020 Well, given the past 12 months of candidates pandering to them and still Iowa not getting it right, seems like it’s working as planned.

  8. Isn’t it funny how, WHEN BERNIE IS POISED TO WIN, there are “TECHNICAL PROBLEMS” reporting the results?

    1. @Nanci Myers first off its democratic socialist. Might be close enough to you and many for that matter but if you’re going to shame him at least call him by the more accurate term. Otherwise, his campaign will jump on the opportunity to prove he’s not a communist.
      So no, it’s not true.
Also, while the word socialism is cringeworthy among many people 40s and older, it doesn’t seem to bother many of the people under 40. They’re too concerned with health care expenses, student loans, and jobs being outsourced. Both Trump and Sanders have openly trashed trade deals like NAFTA. And Trump even promised to bring many jobs back.
By many accounts he never did so those people may be willing to vote for another maverick candidate.

    2. Stop whining ppl like you is why I don’t support Bernie however I will vote for whoever runs on the den ticket

    3. This is actually MORE reason to have caucuses in every state not primaries. There is actually MUCH more voter fraud in primaries than the November general elections precisely because primaries are internal party matters, and they can always weigh in on the victim to stay silent “for the good of the party”, I have personally seen a primary election stolen when a corrupt county was rigging the votes and we were seriously considering storming them similar to the “Battle of Athens” style situation. World War 2 veteran-citizens in Athens, Tennessee there opened fire on Democrat election officials who were rigging the vote, none of them were charged with a crime despite shooting people (blew off the arm of a cop) because they did find proof of the voter fraud after they defeated the cops and stormed the building. Unlike in Athens, Tennessee, Democratic voters aren’t storming the Iowa Democratic Party right now to catch them in the act of rigging this vote, so we will likely never see conclusive proof of their vote rigging.

And switching to primaries won’t solve this: I have seen the voting machine software used in a state primary’s source code, it is NOT secure (I am not legally allowed to say specifics as to which software and what lines of code). Caucuses ARE the most secure IF you use non-secret paper ballots in each precinct because everyone can see how everyone else voted at the precinct level and verify it and then each precinct reports it. The problem here is not an app that can be rigged. Unfortunately because America uses secret ballots just about everywhere except caucuses, all other methods are almost impossible to catch vote rigging in.

Iowa Caucuses worked in the sense that the vote rigging gets CAUGHT every time when there are paper trails and individual delegates can say “HEY! I didn’t vote that way!” . They tried to use an app to make it harder to catch them rigging it.

    1. rhodalee… yes and it seems she is stone cold deaf and unable to speak…there will be consequences for not upholding principles and we all are going to suffer the consequences…
