    1. @Vivian Stimpson Facts, not feelings. . On this Veteran’s Day, remember to give silent thanks in appreciation for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that you and I can have the freedoms that we enjoy today. Uncle Hans in The Bronx….

    2. Sam Home

It was from trepaning. An ancient ritual where a hole is drilled in the skull to release evil spirits and cure mental illness.

      Still practiced by Republicans today.

  1. 8:03 What in heaven’s name does Biden’s having ‘more money than every other candidate’ have to do with his suitability as a candidate for president? Could somebody please explain to this naive Canadian [me] why ethics, policy and character don’t count in this election process? [Edit: I should have referred to Bloomberg rather than Biden in this post, but Biden’s having LESS money than others shouldn’t matter either!]

    1. Multi-billionaire Bloomberg (and other billionaires) are more worried about spending one extra penny on taxes than anything else, pure & simple.. Just how much $$$ do these people need ??

    2. Seems like this fella giving his opinion is worried about his money too, and Bloomberg’s policies on taxes will be lockstep with repubs. Sickening.

    3. It’s because US elections are 90% bought and only 10% democracy. It’s more accurately an auction purchased by special interests.

    1. Previous month I was able to pull my first five figure income ever!!! I’ve been working for this company over the internet for twenty four months now and I never been happier… They are paying me $95 per hour, and the best thing regarding this is the fact that I am not really that tech-savvy, they only asked for basic insight into internet and key typing skill…Awesome thing about this is that I have more free time for my family. I am able to devote quality time with my family and friends and take care of my babies and also going on holiday along with them very consistently. Don’t skip this chance and make sure to act rapidly. Check it out, what I do… *discuss84ยญ.ยญcยญoยญm*

  2. It’s all bullcrap. “Compromise” means cede everything to republicans. We’ve already had that for 40 years. Now it’s time for something different.

    1. @Jim Myers has nothing to do with a game. You won’t name because you can’t. Trump committed no crime and this ridiculous charade Schiff is leading will hand Trump the 2020 election. Take care snowflake.

    2. @BiffBonswain Ok, just for you, moron. Bribery. Witness intimidation. Emolument clause violations from the day he was sworn in. Obstruction of justice, multiple counts. Coordinating with foreign governments to affect the outcome of not one, but two US presidential elections. Then there is bank and tax fraud, money laundering and many more. Happy? And no. You can’t win. You don’t have the numbers and you know it. Enjoy.

  3. Lets call it what it is: Bribery and Extortion.
Ha ha, no chance of the GOP Senate having/developing any testicular fortitude.

    1. @Leon Archer “I need a favor though.” The only thing he asked for was investigating the Bidens and re-investigating the 2016 hoax he has stuck in his mind. Both are personal, political asks. Both are illegal asks. He asks for NOTHING concerning ANY OTHER CORRUPTION. Then he withheld the aid in order to get it. He committed several felonies here and you know it.

    2. @Jim Myers Pressing Ukraine to investigate the source of Russiagate is not a crime and not for personal gain. Simply saying that it is does not make it so.

    3. @Chris H Yes is it. It is bribery for a personal political gain. That is a very specifically named crime a president can be impeached for. Enjoy.

  4. Bloomberg is only coming in to mess things up… No more, we need ones who are running to quit, not add more, STOP!

    1. @Mulinaster the government is NOT a business. It takes a special set of skills to be POTUS; Bloomberg might have some; Trump has none.

    2. @Mulinaster value for value? That’d be investing in education, medicare, welfare, fair taxation for the rich. The value for that investment would be a healthy, prosperous nation with a healthy, prosperous middle class would it not?

    3. โ€‹@Jan Hall In those cases where long term investment has consequences, we need to show objective results for value added over the long term rather than poor money into them as we are currently as a blank check. We need a level of accountability for such investments that we have not shown in the past, especially with Democrat administrations and legislation. If, at the end of all of that, mental productivity and its spawning objective value cannot be accounted for, then we have failed in achieving the epitome of value. Healthy prosperity comes from mental productivity, achievement, and the creation of objective value – one does not create it arbitrarily prior to that advent. “Fair” taxation of the rich that does not take into account the important factors of the Pareto distribution in that healthy mentally productive systems usually have a healthily skewed exponential outcome is not healthy in the slightest, and certainly does not seek to attain value for value ethics in any pragmatic sense. Something for nothing blank checks out of faux and misplaced empathy, as opposed to compassion and the seeking of direct results from human productivity, is a downpayment on oblivion.

    4. @DolphinsWIthIgloos I never said he wasn’t a true Democrat. Basically this guy is a flip flop. Dem then repub then dem again. Whichever way he can get out on top.

  5. The middle class is already being taxed for healthcare…. just look at your ins premiums, deductibles and copays. If you are thinking “hey I have cheap ins thru my job” …. that can change any day.

    1. @eve Not necessarily true, after all, if an insurance firm does that, people would go to another insurance firm that provides better…. After all, this is considered a business….

Now in a socialized healthcare system, if the government fails to provide for you of gives you poor service, you are essentially fucked, since you can’t exactly get out of the system to find a better one now can you?

If you are talking about being a “hostage”, that is only true in a single provider healthcare system like in a government provided one for example, that is not true in a free market healthcare system because of competition.

    2. @MAGA COUNTRY Serious question here ‘cos I’m not American. When you say ” I personally put the maximum of 11K a year into the account saving on state and federal income tax for that amount”. Does that mean the whole $11k is tax-deductible?

    3. Not Dave’s Channel The 11K is tax exempt.
Tax deductible means the amount you can write off the taxes you owe. Tax exempt means the amount is not taxable.

I also failed to mention that the amount in this account accrues an annual interest rate of 2%

Excelis blue choice is the Health insurance company.

    4. @MAGA COUNTRY Hold on, if you’re taking the $11k off your taxable income then that’s “tax deductible”.

    5. Not Dave’s Channel No, not tax deductible.

HSAs are tax exempt. You can only put a maximum of 5.5K per year per person if youโ€™re over 55. Less if youโ€™re under, cannot remember that amount, 4.5K comes to mind. The funded HSA can only be used towards healthcare related items. But not over the counter items. You can use it towards all your health deductibles and co-pays. You do not deduct it from your taxes, you deducted from your earned income.

A tax exemption reduces your taxable income much like a deduction. They’re different than deductions though. Exemptions exempt parts of your income from your taxable income and depend on your filing status and how many dependents you claim. Deductions are the result of expenses you have during the tax year.

The EMPLOYER can use it as a tax deduction, as the company health care cost to his employees are a cost of doing business.

  6. wait, did i just hear Lindsey Graham say, “[Trump] was incoherent, it depends on who you talk to, he seemed incapable of forming a quid pro quo”?
Wow, so the republican defense is that trump is just too stupid to know what he is doing? Shouldn’t that mean he is incapable of performing the functions of the job?

    1. No sir, he said their policy on Ukraine was incoherent, so how could they be asking anyone for a quid pro quo…. People are hearing what they want to hear…..

    2. @Leon Archer yeah I heard it again, he did say Trump’s policy in Ukraine was incoherent. However, in my defense, there’s no difference. As stupid is as stupid does.

    1. @C T she did because she evoked Jeff Sessions’s ‘balls’ explicitly in other news the same day… I struggled with it (her mentioning our genitalia) though, since she is attractive, I don’t watch news to be aroused, especially when the news is about Trump…and heh i do see that it is kind of sexist especially in the direction of women, as if women don’t possess fortitute. (ovarian fortitude?)

    2. @Luke Laugh Mine or hers? This sexism thing is overrated. Males and females are just very slightly different versions of the same thing.

    3. SE CUPP is in no way a feminist…..she is actually a Republican…..so I don’t think she meant that comment as some broad statement about men in general……her anger is with people like Lindsey Graham and Jeff Sessions who went from powerful political figures to spineless wussies licking the shoes of Trump every chance they get with no regard for their own dignity or self-respect…..she is 100% correct …. she is pissed off at her party and I don’t blame her…..apparently Mitt Romney and former Republican Justin Amash are the only real men left……everyone else is hiding under their desks wearing pantyhose.

    1. repubicans go around and give each other wedgies, to stop their circulation down there, to limit their testerone like the adolescents they are

    2. Every Republican who is hiding under their desk instead of speaking up for their country and the rule of law should be voted out of office just like that dumbass Governor down in Kentucky……..if you are a coward….stay home….no one needs you in Washington……Mitt Romney spoke out……nothing has happened to him!! ……why are you idiots so afraid??

  7. Ya letโ€™s take a Republicans advice on how to beat them lol. Ya Iโ€™m sure theyโ€™re sincere

    1. Nasser AbuShakrah EXACTLY ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

    2. Nasser AbuShakrah I was thinking the exact same thing. Itโ€™s not like the GOP has ANY room to politically council. They should really preparing to define what THEY are going be after this second blue wave wipes most of their vile existence from public leadership. ๐Ÿง

  8. Aaaah… the incompetence defense (from Lindsey Graham)… oh wait ๐Ÿ˜“! He’s competently incompetent! Shew… fixed that just in time.

  9. you don’t have 21 good candidates, you have 6-7 good candidates and Bloomberg isn’t one of them. SE good job today with the commentary

  10. “Grow some vesicular fortitude” – You’re asking this of Ms. Lindsey and his demented ilk, I just don’t think so, they can’t even hear you.
