Pelosi To Send Articles Of Impeachment To Senate As Soon As Next Week | Andrea Mitchell | MSNBC

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said in a letter to Democratic lawmakers on Friday that she will consult with her members on Tuesday as she announced steps to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate.
The letter also said that the House next week may name its managers, who will act as the prosecutors of President Donald Trump, for the Senate trial. But Pelosi gave no specific indication of exactly when she intends to send the articles to the Senate, a step that is necessary for the trial to begin. Aired on 1/10/20.

    1. Yeah, Russia wants sanctions, Russia wants usa to invade Iran.. Are u really that far away from reality and the planet earth?

    2. ….”The System Is Rigged And McConnell Is Doing The Rigging”..
      And Our Next Step:
      1. Is To Legally Remove Those Individuals Holding The Rigging From Office.
      2. TRUMP Must Face Impeachment and Legal REMOVAL from Office.
      3. McConnell Must Face A Vote Of EXPULSION from the Senate,
      4. IF McConnell’s is Re-elected (AND As the Citizens in Kentucky elected a Democratic Governor and Most are Disgruntled by McConnell’s Self Serving Cronyism and Nepotism:
      5. (EXAMPLE: Elaine Chao, McConnell’s wife AND Trump Cabinet Member.
      6. Chao is Secretary of Transportation and daughter of LARGE GOP Donor: “Shipping Magnate” James S Chao)
      7. We may see the absolute last of McConnell AND Chao (Chao is Under Scrutiny for her FINANCIAL ties to her Family’s Businesses).
FINALLY the UNITED CITIZENS VS FEDERAL ELECTION COMMISSION Must Be Addressed And Repealed. And Real Campaign Reform Begins.

    1. @Clinton Pachingel everyone is ok with it. Joe Biden said no bc it’s another ploy for Trump to distract everyone for a few weeks and thus prolong the hearings.

  1. Here’s a thought: if Moscow Mitch will not allow witnesses in the Senate trial, Pelosi should kick-off a new impeachment inquiry and call Bolton to testify in the House. All the Trump’s men should be subpoenaed and the emails uncovered via FOIA should be entered into the record. Impeach the Trump again based new evidence and send new articles to the Senate or supplement existing articles already sent.

    1. @Andy C
If it is not policy or only benefits the president personally, or if you use approved aid and a visit to the White House as a bribe to announce the “favor”.

    1. @Patrick Kennedy if they were bills that the Americans wanted they might be worth with but no we don’t want all your Democrat b*******

    2. @E. E. that’s not only his right it’s his job when will you idiots realized it that’s the president’s job just like it was Obama’s job to claim executive privilege during the Fast and Furious trials so don’t give us this b******* that it’s okay for Obama but not okay for Trump same old bulshit

  2. “I’ll transmit the articles. I’d like you to do us a favor though, because our country has been through a lot lately which you know a lot about. Call witnesses.”

    1. @Clinton Pachingel
Calling Schiff and Biden to testify is about as relevant as the price of tea in China. This is not about them. Bidens have nothing to do with tRump’s impeachment.

    1. @epoen2012 what should he have done then? Let them follow through with the attacks on America? He had already killed innocent people, he deserved what he got. All these troops were not drafted, they signed up to fight for our country and will do so proudly. If I’m not mistaken, the problem with Iran started LONG before Trump took office. TRUMP 2020

    2. @Juicy Jen followed protocol for 1. Yes it’s been a problem for years and there is a reason bush and Obama didn’t go through with it. They knew it would bring us into a war that we did not need to be involved in. Funny how you avoided the part about us being pulled out of the UN. Without the UN we have no allies. Even trumps chummy pal Putin said it was foolish for Trump to attack. And when asked, the troops (for the majority) said this put American lives in unnecessary danger. If we go to war, we go in it alone. Iran has many allies. We’re screwed thanks to your beloved Trump. But hey. I pity you. You’re just as brainwashed as all the other fox viewers.

    3. @Dorothy Wiese-Bergan Soleimani was designated a terrorist by the Obama administration. Trump took out a terrorist. Now Iran knows that the U.S. will respond when they attack U.S. interests. An attack on any embassy, in any country is considered an act of war, always has been.

    4. @mona love
No one is arguing that Soleimani was a terrorist. The problem is HOW tRump went about killing him. There are rules for how we engage with other countries around the world. Period. These are rules that differentiate killing by a soldier in war vs. murder. Whether or not Soleimani was a terrorist is not up for debate. Every. Single. Person knows Soleimani was a bad man. Everyone. Trump and his administration have been scrambling for a legal justification beyond “he’s a bad guy”. So they have used the term “imminent danger”, which they cannot actually prove. Republicans are upset about his runaround the rules. Doesn’t matter who attacked who. We need to be responsible for our commitment to being a better, more trustworthy nation to our principles and laws that the Geneva Convention set forth. Yes. There was an attack on our embassy. There is no proof the “attack”–which was actually protesters–was organized by Soleimani, himself. NO PROOF, so that reasoning goes out the window. Soleimani was dead before the attack. The attack on the embassy was not military or terrorist move, it was angry protesters who “stormed” the embassy.

    1. asking witnesses goes both ways, dems get bolton, rudy and pompeo while republicans get joe, hunter biden and adam schiff. i dont think the DNC will go that far

    2. @Clinton Pachingel I think any sensible system would limit the witnesses called to being witnesses to the events under investigation for the purposes of impeachment, not simply people who witnessed something illegal at some point in their lives. The proper venue for their testimony would be a grand jury and/or criminal trial. If a witness cannot provide information that would help to decide whether senators should acquit or convict Trump then the impeachment trial is probably not the place for them.

    3. It’s the house job to call witnesses if there was going to be any Witnesses called that’s when they should have been called it’s the Senate’s job to do the impeachment with the evidence that has been put forward by the house. Don’t expect the Senate to go out and look for evidence for you especially a republican-controlled senate. What the f*** is wrong with you people

    4. @Billy Pardew That’s not entirely accurate. While it may be the house’s job to call enough prosecution witnesses to satisfy themselves that there is enough evidence that charges should be brought, there is no reason that ALL witnesses need to be called at this stage and no reason why any defense witnesses would be called. The process in the house is most analogous to the grand jury stage in a normal criminal trial with the senate trial being the time for the actual calling of all witnesses (both prosecution and defense) and then a decision being made based on all the evidence. I know in modern politics it’s expected that a Republican senate won’t convict Trump regardless of evidence but in theory the Senators are supposed to be an impartial jury, making a decision based on evidence presented at the trial not just party politics.

  3. Nah no need to worry Bernie 2020πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

    1. Nah I’m out in the actual field,I know 300,000 truckers have lost their job at one company.and another that has went out of business, due to the trade war.trucking business is down to one percent.been my own boss for twenty years .numbers are manufactured all lies .everything benefits the rich.rates are very low .haven’t seen them this low in years.almost need two jobs to make a decent salary.

  4. Watch the Freemasons talk to one another in secret televized symbols. Their theme this winter has been the split flag.

    1. Finally, somebody who has not been brainwashed by the left-right paradigm propaganda that is run by the people you can’t even criticize and instantly called a anti-Semitic by the left wing and right wing.
