  1. How many of those are “permanent” jobs and not just “hired part-timers”?

And how many of them got more than “one” of them?

    1. Our 401K is doing great. Hubby worked 12 hours a day forever. Able to retire early thanks to this great President.

    2. @margaret kelly Wow, the lies you sharia christians spew from your filthy treasonous cockholsters is simply astounding!

  2. It’s great that people are working but I’m waiting to see the measurement for household debt/expenses vs income statistic. If people can’t afford a $500 emergency then they are surviving, not really working.

  3. I think the unemployment is so low now because everybody’s unemployment benefits run out. And now they just ain’t looking for work no more because they’re homeless✔

  4. I guess it’s just a coincidence that the Republican agenda and the Putin agenda happen to mirror one another.

    1. Ironic how the American left marched against George Bush’s foreign policy of smashing any American adversary and to spread democracy world wide by force in 2003, but now embrace it.

    1. EXACTLY! It’s only seasonal which means temporary. Can you trust it as the strength of your economy? If you do then America is living on the edge of debt with every season and bankruptcy with every emergency, hence one step from being homeless, that is not strength to me.

    2. @Julie Wynn Funny how they said it’s 3% higher wages than same time in Nov last year. Was there not a Christmas last year? Funny how adjustments to the past few months showed more growth then reported, was there a Christmas in the fall and summer too? Funny how there was a great recession supposed to happen this summer as graphs don’t lie. Did Santa save that too? But keep hoping for disaster like the rest of liberals…thanks.

    1. @L DL Yeah, which is the reason why the French have shot down the country with massive protests. No doubt they’re protesting the good economy.

    2. You do know that France is not ‘Europe’ right? They are just 13% of Europe. And yes they currently have 8% unemployment (which is very odd, given that all the neighbouring countries are doing much better)
In my country (Belgium, a French neighbour) the unemployment rate is at 3,2%. UK (with all it’s Brexit mess) is at 3,8% Germany at 3,1%, Poland 3,2%, Czech Republic at 2%, etc.

    3. @Gym Jordan’s Hair Uhhh, No. They’re protesting the pension reform measures Macron is pushing. In the US, it’d be akin to the retirement age being pushed to 70 and getting a 10% cut to what you’ve been putting in from working for all of those years. Brother, get your facts straight.

    4. @George Huynh – Right. And the pension “reform” is giving working people – not taking away – more from them which is why people are protesting. Not that pension/retirement has anything to do with the economy, of course.

      Morons!

    5. @L DL I live in Sweden. We dont have record low unemployment. Mostly because of mass-immigration from third world countries.

  5. Yeah! FED prints more money to help Americans buy more Chinese goods for Christmas so that China can fund the US government by buying our debt.

  6. So I lost my job 3 years ago and have continued to look for employment. Most of the friends and family that lost their jobs around the same time has moved OUT of the United States and found work in other countries or started businesses there. It puzzles me that these types of numbers keep coming out. I’ve asked whether they’ve considered this fact – wondering when they would mention that there are less of a workforce so the numbers look better. (5% of 100 is the same percentage as 5% of 1000 but those values are different.)

    1. @Awesomeness MLP Channel Eva – Speaking of morons… you seem to be the only one in this conversation. Bye bye…

    1. You only need 2 jobs if you work low skill retail or hospitality jobs. Living in places with a high cost of living does not help either.

    2. @margaret kelly Wow, the lies you sharia christians spew from your filthy treasonous cockholsters is simply astounding!

  7. This comment section looks like Republicans denying climate change. No one understands or cares about the facts so they just make up some silly reason why the job numbers can’t be true. too good. I am glad this stuff is saved forever online.

  8. Yeah half of people can’t find good paid job and are’t able to collect unemployment…that where the low percentage coming from.

    1. … like republicans all hoped Obama would fail, and were going to help make that happen by “doing everything we can to make him a one-term president”?

    2. @Cool Hand Mark …. Republicans never said they wanted Obama to fail. The opposing party always wants the other party to serve one term. However, liberals like Bill Maher explicitly state they are hoping for a recession.
