Ever since that series of Boeing disasters I haven’t flown Boeing & never will. This CEO Boeing Exec. is not contrite no matter how much he claims otherwise.
No, I think this haunts him. What possible benifit is there for him not to care? The commpany’s entire reputation is built on safety. They will not hire somebody who is apathetic.

Talk is cheap, action is what was needed with a set of guiding Ethics, that I am sure is part of the Boeing mission statement and throughout their employee manual. What happens is that these upper management gets to the top by cheating and lying and once at the top, that is all they really know how to do. Sad. What a terrible way to end a career. I saw some of this type of behavior in the medical field. Sometimes it is best to set standards and lose ones job. Because you didn’t need that type of job in the first place.

The FAA has been eviscerated over the last 30+ years. Budget cuts and deregulation have forced the FAA to outsource many responsibilities to manufacturers and “trust” the reported findings. Boeing (Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Airbus, etc) continues to demonstrate their willingness to place profit over safety and unless government steps in, or industry leaders get an epiphany and demand product/service safety above profits, there will be more crashes.

Boeing and FAA must take full responsibility for this accident. don’t make pilots and airlines as scapegoats. Boeing had known the MCAS issues for years before the accident, leaving the entire organization unreliable.
