  1. Bernie is the ONLY candidate that will hold big money corporatists accountable. Warren will take their money in the general.

We certainly did that to the cigarette industry.

  3. It is NOT JUST fossil fuel executives. Just look at what Big Agriculture has done, what corporations like Dow Chemical have done, etc., the environment has been destroyed by corporations. The air, earth and water are ALL polluted. From Bees to salmon everything is dying out. MAKE THEM STOP, MAKE THEM PAY FOR CLEANUPS.

  4. Is making the planet unfit for human habitation a crime. If not, why not?
If it is nothing else, it is a human rights violation.

    • ruth depew
      – OBVIOUSLY, the planet is still fit for human habitation. Whose rights have been violated? WHAT RIGHTS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED.

If you charge the executives of fossil fuel companies on criminal charges, what is the charge?? They have broken no existing laws. And if you create laws then you can not charge them anyway.

If you charge the executives of fossil fuel companies on criminal charges, what about all of their accomplices?? What about all of the people who drive gasoline powered vehicles? They are certainly accomplices to your pretend crime. They might be MORE culpable, processing fossil fuels is not that harmful but BURNING them is the real problem. You need to start procedures to arrest 90% of the driving public.

@Tomandtob wow it’s so safe to have fossil fuels which is why it’s tremendous for you to run a hose from your exhaust pipe into the window of your car nope nothing about exhaust fumes could affect the air we breath it’s not like we are encased in like an atmosphere or something that traps the exhaust in…. oh wait

    • And scientists have come up with a new term: ecocide. I think ecoside should be punishable by law.

    • @Celeste Connor – and yet it isn’t. And it NEVER will be.

  5. Feel the bern 💪💪

The fact is that their own scientists told the fossil fuel executives that their industry was directly responsible for global warming… and they covered it up. That’s a crime. Period.

    • @Celeste Connor – That was NOT what he was suggesting. He stated CLEARLY what he was suggesting. that he’d look into criminal charges against Fossil Fuel Executives. WHAT PART OF THAT DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND???

He NEVER mentioned Congress. He did mention having his AG look into PROSECUTING the fossil fuel executives.

You can try to spin this any way that you want but the rest of the world knows what he was suggesting because he was quite clear – that he’d look into criminal charges against Fossil Fuel Executives.

Sorry but he just removed himself from the presidential candidate list with that insanity. tRump would make that his most popular video campaign advert and the country will LAUGH AT BERNIE.

POLITICAL SUICIDE – look it up.

    • You can make this a lot simpler to yourself, bud. Should it be criminal to subject the entire world to climate death in order to earn more money for yourself? Some things are made illegal through law because of their ethical wrongness, so instead of being pedantic on whether it’s illegal or not, can you first answer to yourself if it should be?

@Tomandtob A criminal conspiracy to defraud the public, for the sole purpose of financial gain. We could also toss in criminal negligence, material misrepresentation, defrauding the federal government, etc.

    • Please help out by donating whatever you safely can to Sanders’ campaign. Every $1 counts in spreading his policy messages farther. I am donating, canvassing, table-ing and phone-banking in Northern CA Bernie 2020

    • Celeste Connor I do re-occurring donations and donate whenever I can. Thanks for working hard for US! I’ll do my part too 🙂 #Bernie2020 #NotMeUs

Good luck on your long march, Comrade.

    • @Celeste Connor – the Bernie campaign is FINISHED. No sane, intelligent adult is ever going to take Bernie seriously again. How can you not understand that? Are you that far gone that you think his statement is rational? All tRump has to do is run that video and MOST of the country will either vote for tRump or not vote at all.

Bernie just showed the country that he is crazy.

  8. This man has to be the next president. Anyone else would be a failing of the American electorate.

    • JYang33
      – he just committed political suicide. No intelligent adult that is not on the extreme left will ever take him seriously again. All tRump needs to do is run the video on an advert that highlights the statement that he’d Look Into Criminal Charges Against Fossil Fuel Executives.

Nobody will ever believe him again. He just made himself sound as crazy as he looks.

He can not file criminal charges BECAUSE NO LAW WAS BROKEN!!!!

    • Tomandtob LOL

  9. I am voting for Bernie.

  10. You could technically charge them as you would a con artist.

  11. The people who are causing the problem should have to pay to clean it up,their the ones who stole all the money.

  12. Thank you, Chris Hayes, for bringing your Climate Forum to us on You Tube.

  13. 7 Fossil Fuel Executives disliked this video! #Bernie2020

  15. Look for charges? They did this stuff in plain sight

    Bernie all the way ❤️🌱🐦🌹🧾✊🏼

  17. Thank goodness. We need too. Executives need to be held responsible. Bernie needs to go back to Fox and debate there. he did a good job.

  18. Dr. Katharine Hayhoe’s site:  ” I’m an atmospheric scientist.I study climate change, one of the most pressing issues we face today.  I don’t accept global warming on faith:  I crunch the data, I analyze the models, I help engineers and city managers and ecologists quantify the impacts.  The data tells us the planet is warming; the science is clear that humans are responsible; the impacts we’re seeing today are already serious; and our future is in our hands. As John Holdren once said, “We basically have three choices: mitigation, adaptation, and suffering. We’re going to do some of each. The question is what the mix is going to be. The more mitigation we do, the less adaptation will be required, and the less suffering there will be.”

  19. Only Bernie 2020
The only candidate who doesn’t receive huge donations from corporates both in primary and general

  20. Jebus Hypocristos | September 20, 2019 at 10:25 AM | Reply

Bernie scares the crap out of the corporate criminals, just look at the pathetic nonsense they post in their attacks against him.

Climate change denial has to become a criminal offense and polluting for profit has to become an executable criminals offense.
