Zelenskyy to Congress: Ukraine ‘will never surrender’ | USA TODAY #Shorts

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered an impassioned address to Congress urging President Joe Biden and lawmakers to continue sending military aid to the war-ravaged nation.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the comedic actor turned Ukrainian leader, delivered perhaps the most dramatic performance of his career Wednesday, embarking on a whirlwind tour that culminated in an address to Congress where he urged lawmakers to keep sending aid to his war-ravaged nation.

“Your money is not charity,” he told his congressional audience, which included some Republicans wary of sending a "blank check" to Ukraine when they take over the House in January. “It’s an investment in the global security and democracy that we handle in the most responsible way.”

Still, Zelenskyy earned bipartisan applause for his comments – defiantly noting that, while more assistance is needed, no amount of Russian troops and missiles can bludgeon the will of his people: "Ukraine is alive and kicking."

    1. @KG_BRANDENBURG lmao that’s exactly what I said “oh, we not getting paid? Then I ain’t doing nothin because I don’t fight for free”. Lol but it’s all good it’s way off topic but my thing is all that money being sent to another country when the veterans in America are fighting to get to their retirements for begin medically retired due to Injury or diseases. But the country just seems to ignore us

    2. @ProsperousOne yea.. its a bit OT.. but ill add to what you said by quoting myself . Something I said a year or so ago

“”The US congress is quick to send soldiers into harms way and equally quick to forget them when they come back to whatever war they was sent to fight, all fucked up and broken”

    3. @KG_BRANDENBURG yeah man. I loved my bros and sis in arms but like I told them all, we’re getting played. Millions are being made in war but how much of that money do we actually see.

    4. @KG_BRANDENBURG Ukraine is less than 30 years old… if you are thinking of the country while it was under USSR control… why do you think they left the Russian federation? The information you spouted is out there if you look in the conspiracy circles you follow to ‘see’ the truth…

    1. @Shawn Ladue
Being a tool is putting a middle finger to other countries with that failed American first policy like what you say…..

I was born here in this country but my parents came here through the military…. since my family is fought in all three branches…. one cousin training as we speak to fly planes on the airforce… fighting for your democracy and “freedoms” Where do we fit in your s*Hole comment.

    2. @Jisundergroundfornow
You’re a sucker if you think we have a democracy, and that we fight wars for “freedom.”
US tax payers own nothing to the people in Ukraine, it’s that simple.

    3. @Shawn Ladue You’re telling me that Europe is not of concern to you cause you claim to be a patriot…. Horse S**T! My family fighting for your democracy is an example of being a patriot… not sticking up the middle finger to other countries.

Other countries, have historic precedences in helping the United States…. I encourage you to go back take American history courses. If you look back at our history, you’ll know why I care about foreign policy vs. domestic.

  1. I love how everybody is talking about the corruption of Zelenskyy while clearly oblivious to Ukraine situation prior to his presidency. As far as most of you are concerned this war just started.

    1. @MNGuardianFan I want Americans to not be taken advantage of. It’s a slap in the face to people who pay their taxes.

    2. @Joe Bloe You didn’t answer my question. If we don’t help out Ukraine, Russia will take them over.
      Is that what you want?

    3. @Joe Bloe You know that Putin’s started this war by saying that Ukraine doesn’t actually exist and has always been a part of Russia. It is clearly his *goal* to take over Ukraine.
So, your point is that if we literally do nothing, that Russia would NEVER be able to take over Ukraine?

  2. Time to protest people like we did back in the bush era. I’m antiwar where’s the leaders trying to make peace with Russia.

  3. I don’t get how he’s able to fly out of the country. Hasn’t Russia been bombing them for almost a year? Isn’t one of the objectives to take out runways?

    1. He hasn’t been in Ukraine for months, it’s a PSYOP proxy war. Most of the video and footage of him is prerecorded from the beginning of the war, and supplemented with updated edits of what needs to be communicated. It’s all an operation. Deepstate

    1. @Garl Gamp 237 Doom “I want a steamy little Jewish Princess with over-worked gums, who squeaks when she cums. I don’t want no troll, I just want a Yemenite hole.” Zappa

  4. Ukraine (determined to maintain its independence) and Russia have been ‘at war’ ever since the end of the Cold War – the violence of the Donbas war of 2014 continues to this day, the failure of the Minsk II cease fire agreement – the annexation of Crimea and the on-going Russian-backed violence in that eastern area have all pushed Ukrainian public sentiment toward the West, strengthening interest in joining NATO and the EU – research the history of the conflicts between the two countries which has now become the biggest threat to the European countries –

  5. “WAR is a RACKET. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.” – USMC Major General Smedley Butler (1935)

    1. yea.. much respect for gen butler.. awarded the moh twice, took a stand for what was right After he saw the wars he was asked to fight for what they really where about and he also stopped a coup against FDR i think (business plot).. as well, as advocate for the WW1 vets and the money they was owed. He was a speaker at the bonus march in 33

  6. Every so often a nation lays its hand upon a man’s shoulder and he rises to the moment.
That kind of man is worth honoring, and, saving.

  7. Wears sweatshirt to ask for more billions; from paycheck to paycheck living Americans. Can’t make this up 🤣

  8. *Because of the economic crisis that always comes up the best thing to be on every wise individual’s mind or list is to invest in different streams of income that’s not depending on the government to generate funds.*

    1. Hi guys, is it possible to invest with him from Europe? want to try this opportunity out. And how do i reach out to him

    2. This is the kind of info we don’t get from mos! YouTube channels. I’m definitely bouncing on this right away….. I’m really impressed
