A woman protesting Russia's war in Ukraine was detained after disrupting a Russian television broadcast while holding an anti-war sign.

A protester stormed the set of a Russian evening live broadcast with a sign in English reading: "No War."
The woman, Marina Ovsyannikova, was an employee of the state-owned Channel One network and was later detained and taken into custody, according to human rights group OVD-Info.

I pray God no harm comes to her and that she’s sent back to her home and no punishment is made upon any of these people if Putin signed that order to punish these people they will turn against him and I think there’s a good chance you’ll see a civil war a rising up against his government
Hi Douglas😊 my fiance and I often talk about the things you just said. This is something, even the Russians, nobody really wants. I think we are all in agreement that Putin is doing himself and his country more harm than anything and that an uprising in his own country is imminent.

I don’t know if you people know it or not but Russia has not kept up it’s military it is in very bad shape reports coming out of Russia saying there are no parts no spare part whatsoever they can’t get planes up in the air they are lacking everything from troops two trucks to God knows what they’ve actually been using old beat-up trucks lately when you see troop movements in Russia a lot of places and nothing but old trucks they haven’t really upgrade their military equipment sense God knows win they’re actually using some old aircraft from the 1970s model they may have made a few modern aircraft but that was for show apparently because they did not mass-produced these items they don’t even have the foodstuffs to take care of the troops I am getting there’s not enough of anything this is why he’s calling on foreign mercenaries hoping that these third-world countries that come to his Aid are going to fit the bill for their own military Mercenaries Putin has stripped his Armed Forces so bad financially he took the money put it in his own pocket in his own bank account between him and the Rich who have been siphoning money from the government

@Rick rick Maybe but will only be because too many around the world seen her. She was still apparently interrogated for 14 hours. Still shows they are being control and have no free speech, also against the law to protest.

She was arrested but I don’t think any charges have officially been filed. She violated the new law against calling The invasion an invasion. Punishable by 15 years in prison. 🤬
@Noah T Putin creates new law punishing anyone who speaks up to prison sentences. Which is part of his way to stop free speech and media like he has banned social media. Putin also has a new law coming into effect. Anyone in prison will be drafted to the frontline of Ukraine combat and have to fight. While on the frontline killing anyone who refuses to Find. Burning bodies with crematorium Vans. Simply put you are not free if you speak up you will eventually die. Same as Hitler done with Jews, gypsies etc

The war has been going on for 8 years, she is the editor-in-chief of the channel. And after the imposition of sanctions, she decided to come up with a poster. She came out with a poster not against the war, she came out with a poster to ease sanctions so that Western companies would sympathize with the Russians. Today, Russian troops are destroying the city of Mariupol, killing more than 2,500 civilians, Russia is not adhering to the green corridor agreement and is not releasing people from the city. The city is in ruins, where people have almost nowhere to hide from shells of Russian artillery and aircraft. If you sympathize with the Russians, read the history of Ukraine, the Russians have never sympathized with the Ukrainians, even now their top bloggers and TV presenters do not talk about the war, they say that the West wants to destroy Russia, so impose sanctions. Russians always lie if it benefits them. If they need say that the Russians are against Putin, they will say so if it eases the sanctions, but it does not affect their opinion.
