YouTube announced it is taking immediate action against conspiracy content on its platform including Qanon. The company says anyone who is pushing Qanon and "pizzagate" conspiracy theories that justify real world violence will be pulled down, NBC’s Ben Collins reports. Aired on 10/15/2020.

When all other social media finally shut out QAnon, I certainly noticed an incredible increase in QAnon here in YouTube. The worst is threatening the lives of people for total made up hysteria that doesn’t exist in REALITY.
I’ve pushed to have google and YouTube step up against dangerous conspiracies that threaten the lives of people. I’m happy to hear this news, and hope they stick to it.

Why fear a conspiracy? MSNBC and it’s followers think the Qs are all numbnutz. Why fear something inferior to their intellect, surely they can prove wrong all that they say. Or just ignore them if they are not worth the time. I’m not a follower of Q, but shutting down content on what is suppose the be an open platform is not so open. Just don’t watch, simple as that. As far a persuading family to conspiracies, so what… everyone is entitled to their opinion and to discuss their opinions to those that would listen. That is still allowed in the US. (at least for now)

The other night I looked at an old friends FB page. He had a meme of Kamala Harris sitting with her legs open. It was saying that’s where the fly came from. I just sit back and wonder how disgusting, sexist and awful it is. It’s fine to hate, dislike Kamala, or anyone. However, the degradation of a woman’s body parts seems entirely hypocritical. I think we just need to accept the fact big business is corrupt, will always become corrupt no matter how much faith you could have they won’t, and shouldn’t be allowed in our society. lobbying should be strictly illegal if for business means and only be allowed for civilian and social matters. We need to outlaw corporate business. Same thing with news. The people need to come together and make it happen. Or else I fear this nation is doomed. The strongest democratic republic in human history was the Archimedean Empire of Babylon, and they expired after 320 years. We’re near 250, and to be truthful, we aren’t as strong as we were once. We need big changes, smaller business and more opportunities for little people. No more Monsanto, Bauer Donny trump’s, and we need limits to our fed. They need to not be rich elites, they should be banned. It should be middle class people who understand struggling and succeeding, not people who have never worked hard nor had to earn their wealth. A man who makes 60k a year would be more grate and respectful for a 120k a year salary for a few years to be a senator or congressman temporarily. Much more than a guy who makes more money sitting at home than that and would rather take another vacation than like, idk, giving struggling Americans relief in a worldwide pandemic. This system is so terrible, it’s so bad, and it’s gone so far away from the civil rights that made us great once.

Then again I think we understood that power doesn’t last forever a little better than the US, maybe because we’re more cynical. I think, like most other things, the American ability to believe is it’s great strength as well as it’s great weakness. It’s why QAnon is becoming so prevalent that there’s even congressmen being elected on a platform of belief in Satanic, baby eating Democrats that torture children in huge underground caves to extract adrenochrome, a magical sounding substance capable of making one forever young. But you only have to look at Nancy Pelosi to see that adrenochrome obviously doesn’t work.

@Zombobo Smith I’m going to watch this, but I feel like I may have already seen it. I for a hobby for some time now have been tearing down conspiracies. It was after being exhausted from trying to follow the news years ago when i noticed it was really becoming more opinion and conjecture, instead of fact sharing. Then the last of the independent media started getting gobbled up by big business. That when all the news nosedived. We have cnn pushing Facebook posts that were blatant satire as fact and fox being sued by foreign governments for slander. It was just at a point o was like wtf. I needed something to curb my mind cause I’m very analytical about stuff. I remember seeing Alex Jones for the first time, well that I paid him mind and I was like this guy is hilarious, and psychologically impacted from something. I followed some of his stuff never fell for it, I did fall for that 2012 crap about the Mayan calendar because the msm really pushed it…its a shame to admit but hey you know…I was young. Anyhow I started learning how to fact check back then and I could pinpoint the facts on what this man said, and how they all share a trait, they aren’t complete. That’s the psychology behind conspiracy. You isolate incomplete and unanswerable fact and then you entangle it with other incomplete facts. The more facts like this that exist about a topic the more entanglement you have. This entanglement is like throwing random cards that have loose connections out and then

Obviously not all Conspiracy is up front as Alex Jones, sometimes the sale isn’t product but a person. And with Q anon trump is what’s being thrown on the table with the cards linking them together. So of course this specific thing will be censored. But the bigger picture is how much more has and will be after this. Each day more sites are censoring more people’s voices and ideas in the name of security and safety. It’s civil infringement on the right to live in this life. People shouldn’t be tolerating this. This is how we end up with entire countries of slaves like n Korea or China, or the USA, etc.
