We’ve been fucking up the response because us Americans can’t be brought to rationally examine an issue, and understand that they aren’t giving away our precious “muh freedom”. Rather, we are hurting our freedom by acting irrationally. It’s like a kid that doesn’t want to take the medicine and stay in bed for a day to recover from a fever, instead of playing with his friends. So he spends the day playing alone and not taking the medicine. This way the fever goes on for a week rather than 1 day, and he spends 1 week getting bored alone when he could have been out playing 6 days before. The thing is, I would have hoped the average mental maturity in this country would have been > a 4 years old…but apparently my expectations were too high.

Up until this day, the US still refuses to share any info on Fort Detrick or to allow international experts to investigate the possible link between Fort Detrick and COVID-19. What does that tell you?

Without prejudice what US authorities did was far worse, Trump was involved in a six month cover-up and he was the leader continually saying it’s harmless and his followers the lemmings followed him off the cliff. @Andrew Richardson I am not saying it’s a free country or anything , just about this subject and authoritarian countries that took the virus seriously are very successful so that’s consistent too, Vietnam and Taiwan are fairly authoritarian, same with Thailand. You don’t have to be an authoritarian country to succeed however, Australia and New Zealand with higher levels of general freedoms of the above mentioned countries are successful too. No evidence any of these countries cover up numbers. The only place where numbers have been covered for a period and this is documented is Florida USA that withheld case numbers during the month of October last year to apparently check the numbers or something, after November 3 this problem was solved.

You have 400,000 health prisoners which is possibly the highest rate in the world and certainly more than double the rate in Australia.
