When you took the money and did not give the product that was paid for , that is theft. Not surprising, ever clock in late as a minimum wage worker and get docked?
For fairness & to avoid any & all claims of discrimination employers should apply tracking to all or none of the remote workforce. Since trusting EVERYONE is unwise it seems to me the use of some level of electronic supervision is healthy & justified.
If Companies supplied the electronic devices for work at home employees then employers could 100% monitor at home work at anytime.
A lot of companies have GPS on the vehicles in order to know why and where the vehicle is at all times and if there’s theft of the vehicle it can be located very quickly.
Maybe she didn’t need to work that much time to be productive? Did she get the work done? So, who cares? Employers in ON have to be open and honest that they’re using tracking software. In BC they don’t?
This is awesome. Let’s investigate all the federal government’s workers working from home.
