Lol -2Β°C and snow in the winter. Youβd have to be in Vancouver to complain about that.
You’d have to be from Vancouver to think that the rest of the province doesn’t get snow.
Yeah, try living in western Saskatchewan.
We don’t get snow or cold weather much in the lower mainland. Also it is not flat terrain here and most all intersections are slopped. I have lived in Alta and Sask, cold, snow but flat. Flat makes all the difference when driving.
@Bellamy Drake. 4 years ago you had -20 in Chilliwack/Abbotsford. When I was in Vancouver in 1990 we experienced the exact same winter. Being a Northern kid I had actual snow tires on my car. No problem.
Not Normal for BC? 95% of BC get snow, and lots of it. Vancouver is not all of BC. It’s the only place that doesn’t get that much snow.
@Adam Howard
We agree to disagree.
@Adam Howard meh.
@alan4sure But it’s not most of the province and does not represent the climate of the entire province.
@Fk B we still do get dumps like that on the coast every other year or more.
@Adam Howard Ever been to the Okanagan area in bc in winter? It’s not unusual to get 3 or more feet of snow in one storm. Vancouver/Victoria gets 3 inches and the world ends and everyone panic buys rock salt and plastic snow shovels.
A lot of hot air over Toronto and Ottawa. Can tell where all the Liberal supporters are.
It was literally -26 a few days ago in Ottawa and will be again later this week wdym
-2 to 0? I’d be out shoveling snow in shorts. Enjoying -36 today in SK.
Same in Alberta. I’d help you if you wear shortsπ
Itβs -39 at my place , put your shorts on and come shovel lol
Issue is our infrastructure isn’t designed for this. We normally just get R A I N.
Mean while -50 in Alberta for 2 weeks and meh
pretty sure when i lived in BC interior we got like 30ft of snow per season… so.. the faq?
30 ft snow in Terrace, not in the Interior.
wow – I thought this was about Western Canada but it really should have been titled: “Winter storm warning in Vancouver”
Legitamitely! ” here in BC ” she says.. but here in Northern BC this is just winter… and we’ve seen a foot and half of snow in the last 3 weeks….
Winter as usual in Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan haha not even close to bad yet
I use to get flack about moving from Saskatchewan to southern Ontario. It’s like the tropics how crazy the weather differences has been for the last 6 years. I don’t miss the weather!!
Canada it is expected. Always dress warm.
Iβve lived here all my life this is totally normal
Itβs been minus 30 most days for 3 weeks Iβd say itβs been pretty cold nothing crazy tho
Google also says its minus twenty six in Vancouver when its plus three right now.
Unprecedented….winter weather at this time of year. Please mention actual temperatures along with wind chill temperatures.
Unprecedented? I’ve seen winters like this since I was a kid.
Oh no! A storm at winter time!!
We need more taxation, these storms are becoming Recurrence every yearβ¦
They need drama for the part time drama teacher.
Winnipeg completely normal-20/30/40/50 I donβt care anymore,, I am perfectly acclimated to live on Marsβ¦
Hello yeah it’s winter what do you expect ” Hawaii warm weather π€·
LOL. Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and the Island are not used to it. The rest of BC live with snow all winter long.
Too much overgeneralization! I grew up in central B. C. and was used to lots of snow and ice all winter.
I love watching Vancouver drivers slide into eatchother π
Iβve lived here all my life this is totally normal
