Will there be a peaceful transition of power for Joe Biden? | States of America

Miami-Dade County elects its first woman mayor, Daniella Levine Cava. She discusses her non-partisan election and how those may affect outcomes, as well as how she is reaching across the proverbial aisle to build bridges and propose solutions for the problems faced by one of the most populous counties in America.

The Biden transition process is being held up by the administrator of the General Services Administration, whose position holds the key to the bank account that will get the Biden administration off the ground and running, and facilitate cooperation with agencies across the government. We talk with two officials who were parts of previous transition teams about what should be happening during this time period, and how detrimental it may be to not have a smooth transition already underway.

    1. @John Sylvyn ,Letting his pet FBI agents commit fraud in an effort to usurp Trump was not a peaceful transfer of power.

  1. If Biden has actually won, there will be a peaceful transition. If it turns out that rampant fraud was committed and President Trump returns for his second term, will the dems finally accept him as a duly elected President? We all know the answer to that.

    1. Ballots are already audited and checked. Every state requires every ballot is counted by both a Democratic and a Republican election observer and commissioner. There’s been no credible evidence of voter fraud. None.

    2. @John Sylvyn If Trump gets legislatures to give him the election there won’t be another election. He’ll be a dictator and will most likely just stay until he croaks.

  2. If the power does get transferred, it won’t be to Biden. We know who the big cheese is: the guy with the 900 lb autobiography.

    1. @Christopher Richardson That’s true Christopher, but was it enough? If the hate was so bad for Trump, then why was Joe having trouble filling a school size gym with supporters. Remember Covid has a 99% survival rate unless your 70 plus, then you have a 95% survival rate. Those are current numbers updated from the CDC, so it wasn’t because of fear. And then ask yourself, if the support was so limited for Donald Trump, then how did a million Americans show up on a weekend during a “Pandemic”, to show their support for him after the election. Not to mention the thousands we saw on TV show up for his Mega rallies. The numbers my friend just don’t add up. And why did we use the same type of vote counting machines (dominion) that they used in the fraudulent Venezuela elections. Nothing is adding up my friend. Peace:)

    2. @Kevin Braden Which numbers don’t add up? I voted against Trump rather than for Biden and you wouldn’t catch me dead at a Biden rally, its entirely possible that many of “Biden’s” voters felt the same way. Also I am not going to debate how dangerous Covid is, because it is irrelevant to the question. People make decisions based on what they feel is true. Biden’s voters believe that Covid is dangerous and thus are less likely to show up to a rally. Trump’s supporters, on the other hand, are very fond of him and don’t believe that Covid is dangerous, so it is more likely that they would go to a Trump rally.

    3. @Kevin Braden Also I am not saying that support for Trump is limited. 73 million votes is more than any candidate before this election. Just because Trump had fewer votes than Biden doesn’t mean that his support was small.

    4. @Kevin Braden Also Dominion machines have never been used in Venezuela. Smartmatic machines have, but smartmatic was only used in one county in the US this election.

    5. @Kevin Braden And I definitely understand how this could be a really confusing time. People on all sides are saying a lot of things. But at least so far the evidence supports that it was as fair an election as any in the past. Have a great weekend.

    1. National security declared this “the most secure election in American history” their words. Some were even appointed by Trump. Amd don’t say “it’s fake” that excuse has been beaten to death for the past four years

    1. Wut? You realize we live in a democratic republic, right? If you want one leader your whole life, go live in Russia or China.

  3. SUXSOMUCH2B an epic loser like “THE AP” – same can b said 4 all the corporate legacy media news organizations that push _FAKENEWS_ Uno who they R.

  4. After the results have been certified and Joe Biden is declared the winner, there will be a peaceful transition of power.

Until that happens, there won’t be..because he has not been declared the winner yet.

    The End.
