vaccines aren’t for kids yet, but school teachers, education staff, yes. Parents don’t make that decision. Parents can opt to keep their kids home for online learning. Schools are babysitters for working parents who want it all.

I was just wondering how this minister is going to control when siblings are completing each others test during online learning in the same home?? For example::
Gr.12 completes gr.9’s math test while both are on line during class time…. and so on … and the teacher from the other side of the screen ( on line learning platform…) can’t do nothing to control that

What about single parents that can’t afford computers for each child, the single parent that has to go out to their job so that he/she can pay the bills. Who will look after the children?
Health and wellness??? What about the mental health of the children.
Having the option of learning online would benefit some kids. School can be hell for kids with social anxiety or who get pushed around. My friends son went from a C to an A average when he started online because in person school was not the best option for him . The thing is we have to figure out how to do it right.

Online learning does not work for 90% of kids. They need adult supervision and teachers helping them learn. Students right now are not engaged in learning. They miss classes or tune out. They go back to sleep, work is not being completed, technology is not always available, socializing is obsolete. How can this government believe that online learning is best for kids? Parents know their kids need to be in school to learn.
I’ve never seen a politician speak so much to say so little about something he understands NOTHING about…
