Politicians that tell inconvenient truths may get punished in the moment but are ALWAYS rewarded in history! Those that tell convenient lies are labeled as such. Maya’s right, there is no Presidential accountability if a President can simply withhold the evidence that proves their guilt. That would make him a King, not a President!! It’s only a witch hunt if their is no probable cause and this White House has ZERO transparency with the other branches of government. This cannot stand in a Democracy!

@Kevin Mcneil Already have and he’s stalling, ignoring and obstructing those proceedings too! He’s not just doing it on some fronts, he’s doing it on ALL fronts. Even when it comes to third parties cooperating with the investigation. You don’t need a court to see that this is a blatant subversion of the constitution and any semblance of Democratic norms. He doesn’t deserve to sit in that chair any longer and it’s obvious that he won’t mind cheating his way to a win. These are just the acts that we know of. What else don’t we know?? He cannot be trusted with more power.
I have to disagree with Ms. Wiley. Just now, when hearings are live, I counted almost 200 thousand people watching on YouTube alone. Sure, we’re not all lawyers, but this is our country, this is history.

A lesson for onlookers – this is called “projection” and it’s something that guilty people do by accusing their opponents of the very offenses of which they, themselves, are guilty. You see it whenever someone who is guilty is facing overwhelming evidence, or are simply too inept to form a coherent defense for their actions. The republicans have shuffled their talking points almost daily:
“The call was perfect!”
“This is a witch hunt!”
“The whistleblower is a partisan never-trumper!”
“We do this every day. Get over it!”
“Read the transcript!”
“The hearings shouldn’t be secret!”
“The hearings should’t be public!”
“Trump should be allowed to testify!”
“Trump refuses to testify”
and Jeffrey here is accusing the accusers of “shifting terms”.
Other examples:
Trump saying :”Nancy Pelosi is unhinged!” or “Adam Shiff is sick and deranged”
Or Devin Nunes saying, “I don’t know what kind of drug deal you guys are cooking up with this impeachment”
These are all accusations that have been levied against the defending parties, and rather than offer a rebuttal, they simply reflect the same attacks, often verbatim. It’s literally the adult equivalent of “I’m rubber and you’re glue!”.
I honestly halfway expect Jeffrey Meade to respond to this by accusing me of projecting. Let’s all stand back and watch.
