@The Great Owl You’re not being completely realistic. There are some big businesses essentially to our economy. The middle class and lower class are dependent on much of the whole economy remaining operational.
I have no doubt, though, that large amounts of money are being diverted to those it wasn’t intended to be given to. I have no doubt that large amounts of trillions will find it’s way into political movements and politician’s pockets.
If you want to see who is most guilty, though, look into all the places and stipulations Pelosi was trying to get away with.
She IS the major culprit. It was ready to pass, rather cleanly, through the house, until she came back and halted the whole pay out, not caring about people who needed it, to laden it with outlandish monetary and policy demands. For her it wasn’t anything but a vehicle to get all she could possibly get, that didn’t have a thing to do with this coronavirus crisis.
@evony elf Covid-19 is WAY more contagious than the flu. If we all walked around and pretended like nothing was going on then our hospitals would have been too packed to even treat anyone – especially in highly populated areas. Also, it has a higher death rate than the regular flu.

I haven’t stopped working through this pandemic working on an ambulance saving lives on the front line of covid 19. I get rewarded with my hours getting cut now I can’t even work overtime cuz we have no patients at the hospital after everything non emergent has been cancelled. Even essential workers are becoming non essential cuz people aren’t dying like they said they would and hospitals are empty.
