  1. It’s easy to quit when you think you are losing. It takes intestinal fortitude to stay in the game and see it to the end win or lose.

    1. Not just intestinal fortitude but also moral fortitude… Must they abide by their party’s request if they know that their replacements will be making their represented states’ citizens be put on the back burner, esp. in this trying times on policies?

If only there are some groups that will rally for their re-election bids, who is elevated from the dirty going-on’s of the GOP… Make it happen!

  2. Any descent person will either change parties or retire if they have an R in front of their name. Joe still thinks voodoo Reaganomics is a good thing. Reagan Republicans were/are a cult too.

    1. Agree.
This whole thing started with Reagan …The Republicans have been the Party of Obstruction, corruption, massive tax breaks for the Mega Rich and personal enrichment. The GOP have turned against Democracy.

    1. A – There are term limits. That is why we have elections. Individuals are elected for the term of a (number of years).

  3. We do need mature adults in the upper house. But given the votes on impeachment last year, do we see any evidence of integrity on the GOP side?

    1. Clearly not. I just hope some of them have a conscience and vote it. He could have stopped them anytime and didn’t.

    2. Nope…None whatsoever. …I haven’t seen one genuine act from the GOP that gives me any reason to trust them or to not convict trump.
trump and the GOP have proven over and over not to be trusted. EVER.

  4. He wants to be a lobbyist or got a lucrative deal from another company. He didn’t want to be challenged too because OHIO has shifted to Trumpians. No longer a swing state as it used to be. So trumpy

    1. It started with Reagan in the Mid 80’s (before that actually, they had a plan but not the ‘actor’ in power to manipulate, until Ronnie) massive tax breaks and corruption and personal enrichment and has been built upon since.

  5. Probably considers the likely price of trying and almost certainly failing to right the ship, is not worth it.

  6. Theyre leaving BECAUSE they’re not in power, I hooe they NEVER again POWER😡, they do nothing for the people only for their RICH FRIENDS😡

    1. I am almost amused when I remember that GOP stands for Grand Old Party. Drumpf’s “flying monkeys” need to be FULL-STOPPED RIGHT now (everybody needs to wake up) – to mitigate against – even more insanity. NOW!!! We are not in Kansas anymore Dorothy:).

  7. Joe, you could go on and on. And you do. After you have interrupted someone.
Your wife is terrific and she should be allowed to finish speaking.
