I thought about switching to plant based meat until I learned it was disgusting and unhealthy.
Nothing artificial is healthy
I wouldn’t call it affordable unless you make six figure if not more
Or it’s more expensive because it uses more fuel for industrial farming. Then all the additional processing and packaging. And carbon taxes are a thing too.
Price is often a proxy for energy usage. If something is much easier to make, it’s often cheaper.

Next they’re going to tax meat to “encourage” use of alternatives as they do with fuel and want to do with sweets
