Maybe, Harry and his wife did not pay the rent! Legal clauses within the lease had to have been met in order to serve them with an eviction notice. It was reported by several UK news outlets that indeed, the couple had been legally served with the notice.

@Bree73 They did a lump sum payment of £2.4m. The entire renovation cost plus a year worth of rent in 2020. It’s written in the Sovereign Grant’s annual report. Frogmore Cottage was the only place in the UK where they still had police protection, so they wouldn’t be behind on payments.
