Barbara Boronda You may want to consider getting fired. Under these exceptional circumstances, you may (should) be able to qualify for unemployment, which would be a life saver in more than 1 way! It’s urgent though, for the employer to verbalize to you that you’re being fired & probably best if they also say for that specific reason!

@Doll Whitman Demand it to your government representatives on all levels… We need to prevent any further homeless and to reduce the numbers that are homeless now. It is very difficult to maintain the distance at the shelters. many are following the guideline for people to sleep in opposite directions against the common wall. HUD wants shelters to establish curtains between people. If any are infected, they will be segregated to isolated segments of shelters to not transmit to others.
There’s always escort services and strip clubs….give those a shot.

Okay, so I am writing this at the 19 minute mark of the press conference and I have to say this was the most honest I’ve seen the President with respect to this crisis…that is a bit reassuring; I’d rather hear “we don’t know but we’re working on it” rather than empty rhetoric of everything being peachy. God willing we will come out the other side of this better and more united. To whomever reads this, despite not knowing you, I wish you, your family, friends and loved ones all the best, be safe and help others when possible. God bless.
Edit: I am a small business owner of a manufacturing company. I gathered my crew, gave them their paychecks and told them I don’t know if I will be able to pay them again (county shutdown directly impacts our company)…without hesitation every single one said they would work without pay until things resolve and stay home if they suspect they are I’ll or come into contact with anyone with symptoms. I was left speechless and tearful.
Arthur Djahani That’s a beautiful story. I’m also a business owner and I had to do the same thing. My small staff is also sticking with me. I literally have no money (we’re in the event industry) but hopefully we will adapt. Our clients have also been overwhelmingly supportive during these terrifying times.
