As a developing country jamaica is not prepared to do a plastic ban…. The approach the government shouldve taken was to
1) change the current behaviors for garbage disposal from the basic schools and primary school stage. Tiny tidy have make clean productive adults..
2) spend some of the nht billions and a waste treatment and management site…
3) abandoned housing schemes and informal communities should be demolished and the areas reintroduce to nature.
4) an overall development plan with a detail environmental impact plan is also needed because just planting trees and banning plastic will not contribute to the fight against climate when developed countries are not contributing….
