I don’t find anything funny about this why is this reporter laughing about it?
He is distracted, thinking about dealing with a shaft for hours.
Let’s see him climb 3 CN Towers!
His cat is licking his toes. He’s at home in his pyjamas…like politicians.
Because it’s not an emergency, and not something to freak everybody out about.
You ppl making light of the situation, obviously you have no clue or have never worked trades let alone mining , just stupidity on display here
Buy this guy a tripod,
Just tell him to put the camera down on something. You don’t need a specialized piece of gear to stabilize a webcam. Literally just set it on anything that isn’t actively moving.
I know I’m getting dizzy 🥴
lol he must of been out drinking last night has the booze shakes
I like the shakiness, they’re having an earthquake b/c he is doing the interview over the crumbling mine
I just watched ice road on netflix and then hear this news😨
May be he is smiling because he is nervous ❓
“These mining accidents tend to be quite freakish and this one was freakish”
freakish
It’s like Pitbull rhyming Kodak with Kodak.
Thoughts to these workers, how terrible. 🇨🇦
They will all be out by the end of the day. No injuries. How terrible is it, really, that they can’t take an elevator?
So there not trapped, the elevators just isn’t working…
There’s 6 ways out of every mine, hence the term, 6 ways to sunday…
I live in Canada, that’s the legislation for mining here, this isn’t a third world country.
Don’t forget that most “journalists” are basically brain dead.
Really, six ways out? I’m interested in hearing what they are.
@AL WEEDO Elevator, ladder, fly, in a body bag, exploded, teleportation
@SmashGhost You mean “Beam me up, Scottie?”
Freakish is when he smiles with news like this.
I’d say he’s nervous but trying to be reassuring.
stop trying to find stuff to be upset about
This guy is laughing ??? Wtf…
I personally think he was chuckling because climbing for a day just sounded ridiculous to him because of how much work that would be.
@M2 1 He wasn’t laughing as if he thought it was funny tho IMO.
So glad to hear no one is hurt. That’s a terrible situation but I will be happy to hear that they’ve all climbed out safely.
4000 feet climb wtf! They better get a huge bonus from the company and a couple of weeks off! The average person I don’t think could climb 4000 feet in a couple of hours! Glad everyone is safe 🇨🇦 ❤️
I am sure they will fire the unvaccinated ones!…
@M2 1 As they should!!!
Mining companies will pay handsomely for all sorts of accidents on site. I’ve heard of planes running off runways at remote mines and the companies paying everybody big dollaz
Scary stuff!
They’ll b ok…we just gotta hold on until the elevator is operational once again.
The Old Boy put in many years in them Sudbury mines.
I wonder what the guys stuck underground will say to the machine driver when they get out. Probbably a bit frustrated at him!
No one was ‘driving’ any machine, a piece of equipment was being lowered into the mine suspended under the cage (elevator) it became jammed in the shaft causing damage to the cage and the shaft.
I live in Sudbury and I know that they are fine and some are out now.
Chile: 33 workers, 69 days. Rescue was able to construct means to deliver food, and telephone line within 2 weeks.
I work 32 yrs in the mines here in Sudbury , if no one his hurt they should be okay, it sound like they will be using the manway to come up to surface, its a long climb but if they take their time they can make it to surface , hopefully things go well.
Is it normal for there to only be one elevator shaft?
As a claustrophobic, this is my nightmare . Glad everyone is okay.
4,000 feet is over twice the height of the CN tower — that’s gonna be a long climb.
Prayers everyone climbs out safely, I’m so happy to hear this wasn’t a cave-in and everyone is ok!
