Impeaching a “Sitting President” is a two part process, only part one is complete, sort of, it was more of a “kabuki court”, no defense, no “due process”. The penalty after a trial in the senate is removal from office, if convicted. He will be long gone hence the point is “moot”. IMHO
And Trump loses nothing because his son will run in the 2024 election. Trump sr. doesn’t need the pension or other money, he’s already a billionaire with powerful connections.
