Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson has been confirmed as the first Black woman to sit on the Supreme Court, but that's not the only reason she's making history.

The Senate confirmed Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court Thursday afternoon, making her the 116th justice – and first Black woman – to serve on the nation's highest court. The Senate confirmed her 53-47 in a historic vote with three Republicans – Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Mitt Romney of Utah joining every member of the Democratic caucus in voting for her confirmation.
President Joe Biden nominated Jackson in February, after Associate Justice Stephen Breyer announced he would retire at the end of the current court term. Jackson will wait months to take her seat on the bench until Breyer officially steps down.

Madam ❤️ congratulations
Hell yeah, so happy we actually got her in! 👏👏👏😄
Congratulations Judge Jackson!!!!
God bless her.
Thank you Jesus! She is Awesome and smart and does the right thing. This means she much to our African American History and for Our Women. She has the experience & knowledge and no Devil from hell could stop what God Almighty, the Creator intended for her role in history as much as our people sacrificed for America for over 400 years. I am so proud, as my maternal great grandmother was a chattel slave!
🚻Anyone that can not articulate what a woman is. Isn’t qualified to judge a beauty contest. The good news is her vote is meaningless. 🚻
Sorry Ms Jackson, I am for real.
What part of Africa is she from
Congo😆
I think 9 people shouldnt be deciding for an entire country what we should be doing.
lol, did your school not have a government class?
Yes!!!!
Disgusting
That is the only reason she was picked
No. She is the most qualified.
@Aja Monae no. She was picked for her skin color and gender…Oh wait I’m not a biologist how can I know what a woman is .
Yawn . First this and first that . Let’s get something new to fight for .
Remember God loves you♥️!
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
If you trust in Jesus Christ and repent, you will be saved.
He is coming back soon😊☺…..
