@Alan Peterson Hillary Clinton was the reason Trump won in 2016. She was the most damaged major party candidate in US history. She was under FBI investigation _DURING_ the campaign. Conservatives had been campaigning against her for 20 years on the radio and TV. And she didn’t campaign in the rust belt.
And even then Trump didn’t win, he lost by 3,000,000 votes!

Maybe we should pull all funding for fossil fuels and put funds into renewable energy such as mining for lithium. We could battery pack and turn every home to solar.
Yes, it’s funny how the GOP is against socialism, unless it is for big fossil fuel companies.
Lithium is in short supply world-wide and China has control over most of that supply. Also lithium is a nightmare to dispose of when used up, a toxic environmental hazard. Solar panels are another hazard, made of many components that are toxic to the environment and some of those are in short supply . Seems like the best to combat this hoax is by de-population, remember there is only 10 ys left so we have to convince China and India to take part in this. Go to the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition website to find out how you can claim your $ 10k for being the first applicant proving Man-made C.C. is a hoax and then you won’t feel so down, there is hope!
Americans have always been a”can do” nation. It’s time to throw off the old and imagine the bright new future that waits for us. There will be plenty of money for those who take climate change seriously and prepare for it. We will leave people like Trump in our dust as we move toward a bright new tomorrow.

When people they know start actually dying as a direct result maybe they will care. Until then fires in CA mean absolutely nothing to them.

“Climate, a new story” is probably the best book I’ve read on climate. We need drastic changes to long ingrained societal systemic practices, and people need to make collective efforts to make that change.
