    1. @bip slone tone it down dude, not all people working in the federal government are Trump supporters
Fauci has been working for decades under 6 different administrations, if something happened to him you’d say “karma! Trump supporter!”? Geez

    1. @Roderick L no probably not, but when you dont have a huge bill from the hospital, then you might have money for that your self.

    2. @Knowledge/wisdomwins-againstimpulsiveness I’ve had both..Medicare is ridiculous compared to Medicaid..n very costly to the very ppl living below poverty levels that Medicare is geared to..200 bucks out of my already small disability check for Medicare n scripts..plus copays for visits..my check will be even smaller once I transfer over to social security..I already live in a van bc I cant afford anything else n safe affordable low income housing has years long waiting lists..n the govt wants to stop both..wth?

    3. @CherBear Millions are out of work because of the coronavirus, they can’t purchase food much less insurance if they become ill, the first place people without insurance go to in the E.R., after thousands not paying their bill at even one hospital over the course of a year, that hospital will be force to close. In a large city, one to two hospital closings is no big deal, but in a rural area, one hospital closing is a big deal, if people had insurance to pay primary care physicians maybe this wouldn’t happen. You may see things the way I do.

    4. CALL IT WHATEVER YOU WANT: “Medicare For All” or “Socialism”, but I want the EXACT SAME HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE and MEDICAL ATTENTION afforded to the President and members of the Congress and Senate, provided by our generous tax dollars!
IF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN’T HAVE IT, NEITHER CAN THEY!

    1. If the people that went to the rallies had to sign a waiver, wouldn’t that mean they knew the possibility of getting infected and infecting others? I would think they have some responsibility.

    2. @WARRIOR OF GOD Covid damages various cell types throughout the body, endothelium cells are one of them. Damage to the endothelium on the inside of the blood vessels leads to coagulation in these very small vessels, the surrounding tissue does not receive enough oxygen and gets necrotic. That effect has been known for quite some time.

    3. @WARRIOR OF GOD Covid clots the blood, if there is no blood flowing to a part of the body, that body part will die. Gangrene sets in from a dead body part. And if the body part is not amputated it will spread bacteria throughout the rest of the body, killing the person.

I would imagine that the brother is diabetic or pre-diabetic making his toes legs and fingers all targets for infection. And a cause of concern for amputation.

    1. @WARRIOR OF GOD Look deeper. The truth is out there. You will find it when you finally decide its more important than your political agenda.

    1. @May LangThang because he absolutely detests his base. He wouldn’t go into any house that was worth less than a million dollars and even then he would spit on the floor. You think he likes these dumb poor gross smelly people surrounding him? He’s a country club guy, he doesn’t hang out with non billionaires or non-powerful people.

    2. @May LangThang he doesn’t even comprehend the idea of suffering. He’s never had anyone in his entire life tell him no. He was likely raised being told he was better than everyone else and that just never stopped. Really common among the rich.

    1. Yeah I’ll bet they’re going to scrub that place from head to toe before the new president gets in there God I hope so with hazmat suits and everything what a petri dish

  1. I’ve read of other people suffering amputations like fingers. And not just one finger, they lose most of them.
    Covid-19 is brutal and deadly.

    1. @Enviro Mental this is what the RUMP Administration has been suppressing at the CDC. It’s just a bit like flu with a 97% survival rate. Geese…what’s the big deal? Yeah….because this Covid19 hits people hard and Any preexisting condition it exploits you from the inside out and crushes you!

    2. It really annoys me when people make light of the pandemic by concentrating only on the mortality rate.
In the UK, the long term after effects have been significant enough for the NHS to set up special clinics in an effort to deal with it.

    3. Some hospitals treat covid patients with ‘innohep’ shots..so that build of blood clots due to covid infection is avoided as much as possible.

    4. @Pamela Bronson hopefully your son will work his way back to full health. My eldest brother just came home from the ICU after 10 days – he was one of the lucky ones, but right now he still has to use an oxygen concentrator and a spirometer to expand his breathing capacity back to normal, and he’s struggling to extend his walking around in the house. Only today he ventured out into his back yard. One day at a time!

    1. @Ellen Garrison sorry but your sentence doesn’t make sense
Who is “you” and who are “we” and wth do you mean?

  2. I wonder if WH workers might become the workers suing for lack of COVID protections that McConnell is so worried about?

    1. @Michelle Carter yes..we need a monthly check till this is over n ppl can safely go back to work, school, out to eat, get a haircut..live normal lives..at the end of this, the average american will be at least 10,000 in debt..n many will be homeless still..

  3. This is why Good old Mitch wants protection for employers, for people like The President & The Senate so Staffers Can’t Sue them!

    1. @A-1 omg Lindsay Graham has been stfu for ever now. U know they keep eyes on the internet now. The Dems maybe Twitter the reds maybe YouTube.

    2. @PhoenixFiremouse So if I know the risks, and get infected causing others to get ill or die, am I not responsible too? I don’t know the law. I’m just asking.

    3. @Lightning strikes twice yes dawg. Remember the senators and congress get a pretty penny and are nice and secure and get their lunches tied on a bow. Mitch should show his taxes. His state is the most social.

    4. All those people who were on cruise ships, airplanes and meat/factory workers…I mean dang. Trumps admission to loving to play things down should be enough to LOCK HIM UP & throw away the key

    1. @Funky Fungi Both the Taliban and by default Al Quaeda voiced their support for Trump. It’s become blatantly obvious as to why.
Trump’s purposeful incompetence is fastly approaching him letting more Americans die than did during WWII. Certainly more than 9/11. He’s done everything in his power to let Americans die. Even-so-much-as not ordering enough vaccines when given first dibs. And to date, no mention of doing anything about the paid bounty hits taken out on our troops by Russia. If that’s not treason, then its definition is in dire need of an update to include Trump’s techniques.

    2. @Lapin Mysterieux – Yup. Elect a clown, you get a circus. And while he was playing ringmaster, so many other things were going on around the world.

  4. Even an official at the Whitehouse needs a go fund me on his behalf? Imagine how the average person is coping with the virus. What a mess!

    1. @Nicholas Cooper what sort of money does this guy earn? Surely he has some sort of support from the Whitehouse. Are they pulling another Republican style scam? I’m suspicious.

    2. @janeen harris he makes $133,000 in salary but people like him tend to live above their means and think they have a permanent job. I remember being a corporate banker and seeing people making multiple six figures living check to check. Just goes to show just because you make more doesn’t mean you’re not gonna have the urge to spend more. This is why so many of them write books and become speakers. It’s nearly impossible for them to get regular jobs afterwards. Especially if you worked for Trump.

  5. Thats why Mitch is so hung up on liability protection, cause they know the white house is complicit and negligent.

    1. Mitch knows that if employers don’t have to protect their workers from covid-19, then they will open up, force people back to work and he won’t have to come up with extensions for unemployment. It’s all tied together for the owning classes.

    2. He doesn’t care about Trump any farther than it’s politically necessary for him to, but his donors would be at risk if those protections weren’t place.

  6. “Don’t be afraid and let the virus control your life” meanwhile this guys life is significantly changed forever !
