  1. One of the best things about the COVID lockdowns was the steep decline of this kind of violence.

    1. A lot of other countries don’t struggle with this issue like we do.There has got be some common sense solutions out there.

  2. Same old routine, “we need change”, “this can’t be our new normal”, “this community is resilient”, and my personal favorite from politicians…”thoughts and prayers”. Rinse, then repeat for the next mass shooting.

    1. @Brian Jones Sure, keep telling yourself that while somene shoots you or someone you know in the grocery store.

    2. @Marek Svec Yes so you want us to be London which dosen’t have gun violence they have knife crime

    3. Some other countries don’t struggle with this issue there has got to be common sense solutions out there.

    4. @Brian Jones that’s just not true. The knife crime in london is connected to drug/gang crime. 99% of london is safe. It is also illegal to carry a knife in london with a blade over 4 inches long. It’s illegal to carry any weapon or other article if your intent is to use it in self defence. If you are caught, you will be arrested,, possibly sent to prison.

    5. @Brian Jones I can’t outrun a speeding bullet, but have pretty good odds of outrunning a guy with a knife.

  3. Guns are like gum…
Pull it out in class and everyone acts like you’ve been best friends since kindergarten.

  4. One thing is stop making it easy on criminals, and murderers, maximum punishment,.
Get rid of officials that releases bad criminals and murderers.
No acceptance or widespread riots or any form of violent behaviour.
That be a good start !

  5. I am confused as to how this guy guy who actually killed people walked out of this scene. I remember not so long ago a black guy holding a BB gun in a Wal-Mart that was sold in the Wal-Mart being shot dead on sight. He didn’t even threatened anyone including the officers.

    1. @Ashley Horne people who say white privilege doesn’t exist need to.be reminded. A black person making furtive movements sitting in a car gets shot 8 times when no weapon is seen. This guy has an assault rifle and a pistol.and walks away.

    2. Ric Ladouceur; and the cop that did it will spend the rest of his life in prison for murder. Where you trying to go with this?

    3. Ric Ladouceur; and walks away??? You want to check that?? I do believe he’s in the same custody as the officer you’re trying to refer to.

    4. @Ashley Horne well look into the Walmart shooting. The cops walked away and are still on the job.

    5. @Ashley Horne I am pointing out the difference between the way blacks and whites are are seen. They are treated differently.

  6. We are heart broken for these senseless killing spree. Our heartfelt condolences to victims family members and friends. Unlimited freedom has consequences.

    1. @Reason It is if they come and visit our country and happen to be in the grocery store, movie theater,Elementary School,Middle School or High School,Walmart, sitting outside at a concert and the list goes on and on.We are not helpless there are solutions out there.

    2. @brady chick: I agree there are solutions. At least things we could do to minimize the situation. But it will be OUR decision and we’ll do it according to OUR process. Different country, different circumstances. What’s good for one country isn’t necessarily good for another.

  7. The shooter had a criminal record and assaulted other students at his school. Yet he was still able to purchase the gun with a 30-round magazine only 7 days ago.
But yeah, we don’t need to look at changing our gun laws, not at all. 🙄

    1. @Demo Crusher nothing to do with guns then. That would be right!!!. I can’t follow your logic. Perhaps less guns would mean less shooting. Perhaps no guns……oh that would be again the second amendment who said you could have guns to defend the country against the British. But now we have an army, and the British are our allies, so perhaps we should only be allowed guns to hunt, and for sport. No military weapons. Isn’t there any of that you agree with?

    2. @PJ Celeste what about if there were no guns, except for sport and hunting, and no military weapons at all, except in the hands of the police and the army. Make the rest illegal.

    3. @Ro G He didn’t do the massacre because he was bullied in school years ago. He left a Jihadi manifesto. He was angry at Biden for bombing Syria and killing 22 Muslims a few weeks ago. This was a Jihadi revenge attack.

  8. We have been saying the same thing since 1999. You know what Einstein said about insanity? He was right.

  9. Instead of restricting voting rights, let’s restrict gun rights.
Makes more sense, saves more lives,
and there is actually evidence of widespread gun violence,
compared to NO evidence of widespread election fraud.

    1. Why would make guns harder to get. They have stringent guns laws they have a screening process thats what the liberals WA t to take away are freedom to bare arms. This is a freedom which is a blessing its unfortunate that a certain few loose there minds but if we give the right to bare arms then voting and then what the government always wants to control us at all cost. You can’t anymore cancel cutlure there’s alway a few that wamt to ruin people’s lives and the freedoms that we so gracefully have. It’s all lot worse other countries we are human there’s always Goinh to be situations like this. That’s life man. Its also the reason why we have been en able to maintain are freedoms and are nations dominance

    2. @Mike Eugene Take away the freedom to bare arms??? I live in Florida, and it’s hot here. I’ll bare my arms all year long.

  10. The Church of Baby Cheesus will be favor of gun control when minority groups start arming up. Happened with the Black Panthers in the 60s.

  11. Not so fun fact:
In 2016, a republican led Senate blocked a bill to bar guns sales to terrorism suspects just eight days after a gunman, who had been on the FBI terrorism watch list took 49 lives in a mass shooting in an Orlando FL. nightclub.
    Thanks NRA and Republicans…

  12. I use to live in Lakewood CO. and I loved it there. The Aurora movie theater was my movie theater. I was heart broken when I heard about the shooting that happened their. It happened only months after a moved from Colorado.

  13. Let’s not forget this officer ran to confront a gun man to take his attention away from people like you and me and put his own life in danger that’s a hero
