  1. Maine has such issue with bridges along with a lot of over state. I highly doubt the Republicans will agree on the higher income paying a higher tax, since they are the only ones who receives a tax cut.

  2. I would like any Republican to justify their opposition towards the President’s American Jobs Plan.

    1. Joe Manchin is the only Dem who can win in West Virginia. Trump won it by 25 POINTS. We need Manchin.

    1. Right! Biden’s already waffled to 25%
Every single one of the people involved in these meetings are the biggest corporate shills in the Senate.

    2. Should start at 100% and then whittle it down to 90% so that the remaining jobs left in the US are also shipped to China.

    3. @Jehovah Witness The biggest con capatalism has gotten away with is making people believe that corporations can’t afford pay their workers a decent wage while CEOs and share holders makes billions for doing half the work. Out sourcing jobs is a choice not a necessity.
Let me know when you find a billionaire that deserves the wealth they have.

  3. So the repugnants don’t won’t the billionaires to pay for they want the average citizen who is already paying more than what’s fair okay got it.

    1. Heaven forbid that the GOP wants to ask their rich donors to pay for the cost of rebuilding our old infrastructure here in America. The fact that the well heeled will, as usual, benefit the most from the investment doesn’t mean the well heeled want to make such an investment. While the federal fuel tax does need to be raised, making all of the users pay a bit more, the well heeled won’t miss a few percent more on income tax to get the ball rolling.

  4. Mitch McConnell has proved time and time again how he cannot be trusted.
Hoping that he might not betray America time and time again in the future is utterly idiotic.

  5. Right-wing senators don’t think broadband access is a part of infrastructure, which tells you an awful lot about how out of touch some of these old fossils really are. Cutting out the percentage depletion allowance for oil and gas wells would pay for an awful lot of connections. The tax break has been in place since 1926 and most would guess the oil and gas industry no longer needs this government incentive to survive.

  6. Take away the money that Trump give to his friends that taxes to his rich people and pay for the infrastructure

  7. the point is both political parties need votes in every election. if its passed in any way other then bargain it looks bad. most times not bad at all still optics. and elections are lost because of what we see as facts. even if they are not. to me a fact is the reagan lie all government was bad. when government by self rule has made things nothing but better . and trickle down with out limits has caused every bit of economic pain we have ever had. sure taxes where higher before reagan but we where number one in everything we where a nation of one worker per household families that could afford things. a fact anyone can check on. there was stagflation and it was starting to hurt. still most of the problems where not from the united states . the oil producing nations hurt us. unions had too much political power in the hands of too few union leaders . but still we where the best on earth . search it. before the reagan lie and the tipp O Neal tax cuts we where far better off. just go back and add in the taxes not collected to the cost and guess what . no red ink. its basic math. just check for yourself. we handed over things to the so called business person. and they did what they do make money for themselves. capitalism is the law of the economic jungle . that needs rules . its why zoos are fun and being eaten by wild animals is no fun at all. all the g o p has done as the party of the rich is stop taxing people with the wealth. and taken from everyone not rich. im old over 70 i was alive before reagan. things where far better . ask any old person that got past high school.

  8. How about actually taxing corporations? If they want to call themselves entities capable of influencing the political process then they really ought to participate in the cost of it, not just what they pump into the pockets of legislators to get what they want.

  9. “The eyes of history are on this appointment.” – Buttigeig
1964 Japan’s first bullet trains were put in service and the the first Beatles album was released.
1998 China started the construction of 36,000km of high speed railways and high speed trains.
2021 US still has NO high speed railway and NO high speed trains. When was America great?
