This is just an impeachment inquiry. The infractions identified in the mueller reports should be added as articles of impeachment as well or Trump is truly above the law.
There is no legal requirement to keep impeachment articles about the Ukraine extortion.
The Nixon impeachment already set that precedent. They can draft articles for every rotten thing he’s done for the last 3 years.

On MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” former Rep. David Jolly (R-FL) laid into Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for saying he wasn’t even going to read the transcripts from impeachment witnesses because he found the whole process a “sham.”

Btw, Graham, he did read the real and only transcript, the only admissible evidence so far. He even said so on video.
What he will not read is the non”witness” testimony, because it is tertiary hearsay, which renders the testimony non-credible, inadmissible and not evidence.
Though it is clear that President Trump did not do what you democrats accuse him of. Even if he did, it is still legal if he did.
He is required by the NDAA (law you democrats made) to verify aide doesn’t go to corrupt foreign governments. Thusly withholding aide is not a crime, it’s his JOB!!!
And being the top law enforcement official he is. He has a constitutional obligation to enforce the law, weather he does it himself or delegates that. Given this is President to President, he initiated it, and will have that information from the Ukraine submitted to the attorney general.

This is news: one day after his call with Ukrainian President, Trump told Sondland his focus was on Biden probe.
“Amb. Sondland responded that President Trump cares more about the investigations of Biden, which Giuliani was pressing for,” Taylor said in his opening statement
Keep in mind, this means Trump cared more about probing Biden than Ukraine’s ongoing war with Russia, which the US aid was intended to help Ukraine defend against.

Second, the House of Representatives must pass, by a simple majority of those present and voting, articles of impeachment, which constitute the formal allegation or allegations. Upon passage, the defendant has been “impeached”.
Third, the Senate tries the accused. In the case of the impeachment of a president, the Chief Justice of the United States presides over the proceedings. For the impeachment of any other official, the Constitution is silent on who shall preside, suggesting that this role falls to the Senate’s usual presiding officer, the President of the Senate who is also the Vice President of the United States. Conviction in the Senate requires a two-thirds supermajority vote of those present. The result of conviction is removal from office

Matter of fact, If President Trump just handed the aide over without question, without bringing Biden up. Then you would have a case to impeach President Trump, because him doing nothing is a crime.
