So she didn’t get direction but at the same time Trudeau didn’t recuse himself from the decision making process. How can both of those facts be true?
Magic!!! This conflict of interest is like a magician’s act. In this case Justin Trudeau wants you to look here (conflict of interest), and not look there. He’s not concerned about another “conflict of interest”, as the slap on the wrist is “no problem”. But, methinks he’s copping a plea to a lessor charge. By focusing on this Conflict of Interest, and the fact that he did not recuse himself, we won’t concern ourselves with the real issues:
The first issue is taking $43M Thank You of taxpayer monies for hiring my family for speaking engagements. We were all told up until today that this figure we $19 Million. Pierre Polievre appeared surprised at this revelation.
The second issue is Trudeau stating that “this is all for the students”. But how can that be when of the $900 Million only $100 Million goes to the students. This is the REAL SCANDAL, which at maximum the students might get $100 Million. Do the math!
Braddish Chagger described the financials of this program as offering a tuition grant to 20,000 students of between $1000 to a maximum of $5000. So, at the most generous level, 20,000 student x $5000 each maximum = $100 Million. Read that again $100 million.
The contract was for $900 Million. If only $100 Million goes to the students (or even possibly less), then who gets $800 Million. It was loosely described as WE would distribute it to other Non-Profits. Hmmmm! Perhaps the Trudeau Foundation, and other pet charities of JT.
Canada is headed towards having one of the most corrupt governments in the world. The arrogance to say sorry, arrest all these corrupt Liberals. Freeland you are a liar with your fake apology.
