How much would you pay for an unopened 1996 copy of Nintendo's Super Mario 64?
The vintage game went for US$1.56 million to one bidder at an auction this past weekend, according to Heritage Auctions.
The history-making sale on July 11 broke the auction house’s previous record of a single video game, which was set just days before. An unopened copy of @nintendo's Legend of Zelda sold for US$870,000 on July 9.
