COVID is no hoax. Someone I know had it. They were hospitalized and placed on a ventilator for 9 days. Even after coming off the ventilator and showing improvement, they couldn’t talk or walk and felt as weak as a kitten. They underwent physical therapy 3/week for months. Their adult child had to move in to take care of them. It’s taken months for them to be about 75% well. Fortunately, they survived. Please believe that COVID IS REAL!
Some guy mowed my lawn for $20 yesterday. He would be a good infectious expert. Let’s try him next.
Herd immunity? That’s a great idea guys. You first!
People can get reinfected with the virus! Herd immunity doesn’t do any good.
How can you get herd immunity when it’s possible to get the virus twice?
That seems to be rare now. But perhaps it is from 2 different strains. So you can get immunity to both. I mean, you may be right but I wouldn’t worry about it too much just yet.
There is (unfortunately) still not a definitive conclusion on this.
You just have to be blind and deaf. Easy.

Where is the public outrage of the most qualified doctor in America being shoved out of the way??
It was Trump who chose a doctor who Favors you getting sick and (maybe) recovering, over a doctor who warned us of the severe after effects of this disease and wanted us not to get it.

The trouble with “herd immunity” is the apparent short-lived nature of immunity to Covid19.
As a coronavirus, it’s the same family as the common cold and seasonal flu. Is there herd immunity to either of these?

@Mary Lynne If my kids can attend public school only after taking shots, why it is not forced. Are they going to return my property tax? You said home schooling. Why are my kids forced into home schooling without shots. The kids with shots in public schools are already ‘protected’. Parents of other kids without shots are willing to take the ‘risk’. If that’s true then explain Sweden. Sweden has essentially achieved herd immunity. If you’re correct, then when should we expect their death toll to uptick again? They are at pretty much zero right now.

In deaths pr.million Sweden is on par with the US on 10th place with 557 deaths pr. million. We, the neighbouring country are on 84th with 49 pr.million. Our bordes with Sweden are not open…..
