St. Patrick's Day in America may be seen as some as a pot of gold on the calendar – a chance to don green while swigging jade beer and searching for an ounce of Irish ancestry with the same tenacity as you would a four-leaf clover.

St. Patrick's Day in America may be seen as some as a pot of gold on the calendar – a chance to don green while swigging jade beer and searching for an ounce of Irish ancestry with the same tenacity as you would a four-leaf clover.
But as the experts tell it, the day that originated in America is a prideful one for Irish and Irish Americans, one where their heritage is celebrated.

Hi
Hello
SAINT PATRICK’S DAY & NOW **
One of the most famous saints of old Ireland
Who was kidnapped by slave traders at sixteen.
A shepherd boy living a life of misery
Among pagan captors who chose to be mean.
Fleeing, he made his way back to his people
Later he studied the priesthood in France.
Returning to Ireland as a bishop
He became a legend of both song and dance.
He compared the shamrock to trinity
And drove Irelands snakes away without fear.
Today most people celebrate his sainthood
By way of parades, parties, pot and beer!
Always remember you’re never alone
Right and wrong are always around you.
Through faith, prayer, love and commitment
We find fulfillment in the deeds we pursue.
