One of the most high-profile true crime cases in recent history is playing out in a South Carolina courtroom. Testimony is underway in the double murder trial of disbarred attorney Richard "Alex" Murdaugh, who is charged with killing his wife and son.
Murdaugh, part of a South Carolina legal dynasty, was charged with murder in connection to the 2021 shooting deaths of his wife, Maggie, and son, Paul. Murdaugh has pleaded not guilty. After the shootings in June 2021, police launched investigations into two other deaths connected to Murdaugh and alleged criminal acts dating back more than a decade.

Guilty
Mr Waters knocked it out of the park. 🌊
I was amazed that he was able to do so well. I stopped watching for a couple of days because he seemed to be rambling all over. I figured he’d botch closing arguments badly. But managed to connect all the dots very well.
😢 AM left speechless…he knows.
Why kill his wife and Paul and not Buster too? I’m undecided.
Someone mentioned that a week or two after the murders, AM tried to get Buster to go down to the kennels to hunt, and Buster was thrown off cause “why would I go to the spot where my mother and brother was killed?”
AM kinda chuckled it off and said “it’ll be fine, no worries” he never went…
It was in a phone call between them two!!
Buster live out of town with girlfriend and he was working. Plus it known Buster was his favorite.
Paul had emotional problems that got him into trouble. Paul was driving the boat and facing prison. Paul was causing him too much trouble and money. Alex got the two he wanted.
@Linda Hammond makes a lot of sense!!!
Who here after watching Netflix series
Wasn’t there a big life insurance policy on Maggie and wasn’t she inquiring about divorcing AM? Going to a divorce lawyer? Why aren’t these things mentioned?
No life insurance policy
Not mentioned because no evidence for any of them.
No and No
They talk about irrelevant stuff!! Wtf. Who cares about the money?!
Wow I don’t think anyone has ever looked so guilty as him as when they started talking about Pauls injury’s. Dude is a monster. That prosecutor came prepared he killed it.
Who was the younger guy sitting behind prosecution table (next to Goth Girl) who was laughing and showing his legal pad to guy next to him?
