Even if no criminal charges are dealt, I would think that there would at least be some kind of no-fly penalty attached to these individuals. Let them drive or walk to their destination

@Chris Albert They will be put on a no-fly list that is a private list airline keep for people like that. I know someone who was drunk and yelling at a gate agent she arrested for disorderly conduct. They put her on that list she can’t fly anymore it’s greyhound for her now.
“Just about to takeoff” is NOT the same thing as “before it even left the gate”.
I miss all the good flights.

I’m under the impression that planes needa let people get more space people get more hostile the more crowded they are. Sharing arm rests and 2 inches of knee cap to the chair infront of me isnt enough.

Business class depends on which some are just glorified economy plus. Which is basically the old economy class but marked as business to justify forcing people into sardine like situations.

Totally agree just like the Chris Rick thing. That shouldn’t be up just to the victim (who may have had any good sense knocked out of ‘em). It should just be an automatic assault charge. Everyone on that plane was victimized.
A murder victim doesn’t have to file charges. Why should an assault victim get the choice? That’s exactly what leads to abusive relationships.

This is happening too often. People have absolutely no class anymore. Start putting these people on a no-fly list. Make them take the bus! Airline crews are not paid enough to have to deal with this b.s.

I think air travelers sense a high level of anxiety due to the unpredictability of the airlines to function fairly, especially in the US airlines . Plus, all of the nonsense we must go through, before boarding the plan. I blame the airline industry for packing too many people, too tightly in the plane . I always take an Ativan before I fly . Calmer nerves tolerate more nonsense .😢

I used to fly every year for years!!! I never saw anything like what’s happening these days!! People have lost their freaking minds!
I still fly quite often, but mostly internationally and I haven’t experienced the kind of problems seen in these American flights.

That’s one big issue . For travelers their irritability starts spiking right from crowded terminals & standing in lines . And then planes are packed with people. Add to that noisy kids & loud people and situation just gets worse

That’s because neither party wanted to file charges, they looked like they are used to brawling. I guess they could have hit them with disorderly conduct.
Being trapped on air when people are fighting is horror. I have seen this type of scene many times now.

In America these days, airplane incidents involving rowdy passengers are happening almost as frequently as mass shootings. There’s some serious mental health issue going on there.
People are just consuming too many chemicals- be it vitamins, meds or something else. Even food contains chemical additives right from the source to the shelf.
People need to think of a chemical free life as far as possible. Practice healthy living + eat well balanced natural fresh food — mind will be much calmer & body much healthier.
He is “ready to go to jail or die”, if someone bumps into his family member? Dude needs to get a serious reality check and understand that being a husband and father is a long-term game. What good would he be as either to his family, if he is ready to throw it all away over some knucklehead doing something petty? Unbelievable.
I think most people would if you attack their family not sure what aggressive means to him

For those wondering why no charges were filed is because Dallas is short on officers.
It’s the reason why you never see anyone being pulled over anymore or tags being ran. They don’t want to bother with anything.
Just two months ago I walked up on a drunk driver who was literally slumped over the wheel and ran into 3 vehicles.
An officer was across the street and I told him about it and he left the opposite direction. I had to call 911 twice….
No one arrived. On a Wednesday night.

It’s because both refused to file charges for assault look at those two you think they haven’t been in a fight before. They will be put on a no fly list airlines keep neither party will be able to fly on any US airline after this.

A friend, Amelia, works for a well known airline in Europe. She’s told me that incidents like this are extremely rare. As a frequent flyer myself, I can concur. What is causing this in the U.S.?
Who ever threw the first punch is absolute scum that deserves 15 years in prison. We need very serious decades long charges for any physical violent charges. Fake or crappy news never tells you the entire story.
