Nikki McLean I do think you’re stupid, maybe it’s not Clicking but you do understand there’s a difference between being affected and being hardest hit no? It’s actually common sense. Poor people tend to be more congregated together (multiple generations living together), tend to be less educated, tend to have less access to insurance, tend to have greater health challenges (if you asthma, diabetes, heart problems you are more likely to die, the more of these problems you have the greater the chance. It’s a compounding problem). I could go on. Not sure what you don’t don’t understand about that. The virus affects everyone, anyone can die but when it’s all said and done poor people will be hit hardest.

pakpala1 if something good comes out of COVID-19, hopefully it’s people finally recognizing the danger of having healthcare tied to employment. We’re going to be at 15% or more unemployed and as a result uninsured at a time they need insurance the most.
The democrats are already hamstrung be being stuck with Biden. Hopefully Bernie can knock some sense into him. We have already have many socialism aspects. Perhaps they seemed radical at the time but now we can’t imagine life without these things.

It’s not about the race. It is about socio-economic factors. And in some european countries that means that immigrant groups have been hit harder, in some parts of US it probably means that blacks are hit harder.
