This is a bad PR for Jamaica, however this is a learning experience for all of us. Whether Jamaica or overseas we have to monitor our finances more keenly. This instance can happen anywhere and accounts can be vulnerable in the hands of employees. This is the reason why in America only $250,000 is insured if an account is compromised for fraudulent activity. Therefore if the account has more , only the insured amount is guaranteed to be repaid to the client. This is just the reality of things.
The world is watching to see what the Jamaican government will do against this so-called investment co.
