BUT SHE WASNT A PART OF IT. This woman threw a molotov cocktail at a police car with four officers in it. Once she did this she got into a waiting car and left. Much of the looting and fires where started by white supremacist who sneaked into the crowds, started mayhem then left!!!!

I think Trump is a bit of an idiot (I think his remark about “injecting disinfectant” was an off color joke, and was in short dismissing it as a hoax. I could be wrong, I never had much confidence in his intelligence, when he was first elected.
But I do not believe the corona virus is really tearing through “killing everyone by the thousands”… even as the national death toll was 15% below average (for awhile there, I forgot when that was dated, right off hand) during a 4 year span.
I also don’t buy the media spin, when every time ANTIFA and BLM start rioting, COVID seems to go on vacation, or something. Quite odd.

Hospital care is a lot better at treating covid, which means it will take longer for the body to succumb to the virus. There will always be a massive lag between new cases, and new deaths. The deaths might be lower because of the better understanding of the virus, the better understanding of the equipment like breathing machines etc. But there will be people who will die from it, but it takes time. Also, most of the new cases are young adults who are in the lowest risk group for death, but depending on how much has spread over the community, there might be a massive spike in deaths caused by the young group infecting the older groups.
Just remember this is all a “Hoax”

@Humanity is a lost cause Self centered lunatics Given that a four day stay in a Texas hospital back in 2001 can cost $30,000 dollars without insurance, $6,000 with insurance (yes it happened to me), I highly doubt the hospitals are raking a profit on the $2,000 per COVID patient they receive from the government especially given the recovery can take 8 days to several weeks. Indeed, Doctors and nurses have been laid off at American hospitals because of the revenue drop as COVID patients displace highly profitable elective procedures. Even treating someone for the flu would be more profitable for the hospitals than treating a COVID patient and of course with the hospitals saturated by COVID patients, fewer patients would be admitted for other reasons hence all those other conditions would be less likely to be reported. Keep in mind that many hospitals have suspended all elective procedures, even cancer procedures have been cancelled and certainly diagnostic procedures so many of those other conditions aren’t even being diagnosed so of course they would “disappear’ from the statustics. I think it’s presumptive to say other diseases such as the flu have just suddenly dropped, they’re just not as reported because the hospitals no longer have the capacity to admit them. Certainly it is foolish to base such conspiracy theories on other diseases allegedly suddenly stopping, that’s simply what statistics will show as COVID displaces other diseases with the limited healthcare resources we have. I believe you are misplaced in discounting the disease as media hype, certainly mutations rarely affect anything pertinent so it would be unusual for a mutation to cause an issue to be concerned of though eventually the disease will stumble into a mutation that changes it’s behaviour but really to think it isn’t really happening because you think the media is overhyping it, you’ll just being foolish.

As an introvert I generally agree. Even so, going outdoors is pretty safe and healthy so long as you keep distance from other people =) If anything, it’s important to keep your vitamin D levels up. The key is to avoid indoor, closed spaces with poor ventilation for long periods of time with lots of people and no masks. People need to remember that this is not an all-or-nothing thing. We can defeat this virus with science and a moderate approach to re-opening.
