My sister and I and 8 neighbors have this virus. Mild headache, slight fever, tiredness and runny nose. Most of the neighbors have no symptoms. I don`t feel great and sleep more, that`s it.

I’m from the US, but I’m teaching in South Korea. (I moved here before the pandemic.) Even my 7 year old students know that the US isn’t doing a good job. One boy walked in, with a US flag on his shirt, one day. I tried to explain to him what it was, by saying USA (미국) in Korean, and drawing a flag on the board. Immediately another boy chimed in, “미국 is corona!” I couldnt really disagree. 🤦♀️

Just across that border they are still having 1000 cases a day and a death toll in the hundreds. Why did we get it right? We are not in some far away distant land. It’s a 20 minute drive. I know where we got it right and how we defeated it. We all knew the U.S.A would be screwed once this virus hit. Now to be fair, it did not matter if Trump was pres or not.

That petition sparked the Cares Act but it was the cheese in the trap, to keep pressure down publicly we thought we got relief, 1200 one time. While 43000 millionaires each recieved over a million from that bill.
Congress has had 3 Bill’s that actually meet the demands of millions of people calling for UBI during this pandemic. All of which have been silenced by a majority of congress/media as they created this hyper focus on Heals act and Heros act debate.
