@James that wasnt the unions message thatcwas shell the owners of the company . That,was the message shell gave to the unions to tell the workers inthe union. Its not like an order the union gave to the workers they were just relaying the message of the employer. But what youre forgetting is there were conditions that were included that you couldnt voice any opposition or protest if you disagreed which violates your free speech or right to protest under the constitution.

@James Cleary you’re a child and do not work. PTO means paid time off. PTO is a mix of vacation time and sick time that an employee accrue per the amount of hours you work in a pay period cycle. So, when the memo says they have to come or USE time they have accrued from working is not a PAID DAY OFF!!! that is them being FORCED to use time they have earned for vaction or if they are sick on a BS rally. Its unfair and borderline illegal. On any job in America you can be fired for talking about political affiliation in person, by email, or having representation in your work space.

If you worked there and it was a candidate you did not support, you would be pissed off. That’s why campaigning for elections follow strict rules. It’s happened in the past and caused big problems so laws were made.
