If you are a democrat and you want to be effective perhaps register as a republican earlier than the primary in order to impact the republican candidates and get people whom don’t worship trump and support terrible GQP candidates on the ballot.. Keep voting locally as a democrat but play primary as a republican for anyone but Trumpets or confuse them..
A lot of people don’t know they can be independent and vote for anyone in both party primaries

I switched registration from Democrat to Republican so I can vote in the Republican primary ( I do not live in an open primary state). If Trump ends up running I will vote against him. To do something, to make sure he doesn’t get the nomination. After the primary, I’ll go back to the Democrat..

I switched from dem to republican because I live in Idaho, and that was the only way to realistically move my state even slightly away from Trumpism. We lost the legislature, but managed to keep trumps candidate out of the governor’s office. Hopefully the recent events drive people blue in the general midterm election. I know that’s how I’ll be voting.

As a Registered Republican Voter never again speak to me about Republican Values, Family, Law or Parenting as well as supporting any Republican Candidate again as they only care about themselves and their own political views, opinions and careers and anyone to whom they can sell their loyalty to to protect themselves. I live in Colorado, grew up here. And with the number of far right republicans we have in this state I will always vote Democrat. It’s funny how he called it “unethical” what is happening. Gee, a little jealous they beat you to it. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
