Juneteenth was an attempt to make good on a promise. Now let’s keep going and make a federal holiday of Voting Days so everyone can get to vote!
Everyone already gets to vote
@Z Ham Democrats and there FAKE Suppression and Oppression, very SAD !! *** Democrats still keeping Black people in slavery ****
@Dach I wonder where you heard that BS from.
Now this makes since
I love Opal. I’m glad she’s still here. It was also a black woman who taught me black history and set a fire under me on college. She’s my grandmothers age if she was still alive. I love that generation. I wanted to crawl under the earth when my grandmother died. My grandmother worked until she literally fell over one day, she never sat in that rocking chair either Ms. Opal
Veggie Biden actually said Juneteenth was the black wallstreet massacre. But he made it a national holiday!!!!! What a goof.
Love the solidarity displayed between Tremaine and Jeff.
John Brown, Love it, Love it, Love it.
🧏♂️
Thanks guys 🙂
Great job!
Hey Church people, this is what needs to be taught in our Sunday Schools !!
Great. And bring the Bible back in the government schools.
June 19, 1865 was the end of a slave nation and a commitment to make good on that promise.
It’s always a good day to celebrate the end of crimes against humanity.
Until Barack Obama became president!
Alright!!! Another day paid holiday 🙌 … keep em coming.
Juneteenth passing was great. Now let’s see some real action. Let’s pass For the People’s Act. Let’s get police reform. Let’s get lower housing cost. Let’s get the infrastructure bill passed. We want more than symbolic actions.
Anthony Browne – *Let’s get the government to pay for everything!*
@Bill Pigg – NO, let’s get the RICH, who practically OWN, the government, to pay their fair share of taxes, to pay for ALL – of it!
I’m a black man and I’m just not buying it!! You can’t just throw me a bone and expect me to be happy! You can keep the holiday but give me my 40 acres and a mule, with interest!
Furthermore being freed from slavery isn’t something you celebrate!
You might want to take the holiday because you’re going to get nothing else !!
My 12 year old son is a historian when it comes to American history especially civil war. He knows everything about the civil war, he even got a union hat, knows how they use to load a musket. And of course, he is on the union side. Btw we are Mexican American.
WHO CARES 🤣
So he knows all about Mexican history too right?
Thanks…..illl be looking forward to the holoday pay
Thank the Lord that Lincoln and the Republicans freed the slaves! Hallelujah!
200 yrs late but whatever. Does this solve anything? No because black peoples are as different as white people are to each other. Jeez. Peace and love America 🇺🇸
This does NOTHING FOR MY PEOPLE!!!
Give us an anti-blacks hate crimes bill!!!!
Juneteenth. The day Black America takes off to remind everyone how much they contribute, and the rest of us pretend to notice.
Nothing says “Juneteenth” like worshipping criminals killed by the police because his skin color matches yours. Really makes the community look good. 🤡
To celebrate june 19th I’m going to sh*t in my hand and clap..
