@huntertony56 They will once all the hospital ICU’s are overwhelmed, which has already happened in Italy. The younger generations may not die directly from the virus, but make no mistake they will die because of the lack of healthcare resources due to the virus. In a big way.
@Popermen Everyone has reason to worry, even if not directly from the virus itself, but because of the closures of shops, looting and lack of medical care due to the system being completely overwhelmed should it kick off in a big way, which it appears to be doing.
Climate Fails ya. I agree. I was trying to side slightly with the poster I responded to in order to get my other point across. Regardless of the economy doctors are saying it affects more people than they think. There are folks in their early 30s that have never smoked before showing scarred and completely destroyed lungs through xrays. A Doctor mentioned it looked like they chain smoke for 30 years.
It needs to be repeated over and over that the Obama administration put protocols in place for such an event and Trump got rid of them out of nothing more than spite and envy .

We Chinese people sacrificed our loved ones and our economy in order to fight this virus and no one cherish our experience. What a shame!
@Zhangyuxuan Qiao I married a girl from Laos. That said Americans do not hear from China except through media. If its Chinese media its viewed as tainted or lies. If its from other governments then it also has biased. A friend from work visited China and was driven to a factory where he was to work or train new operators. He told me they drove six or eight hours from the airport and never got through brand new businesses and factories wow!!!!. China has more students pursuing advanced degrees then the US has in college. The Chinese students that interned at work here in the US were extremely smart, dedicated, and disciplined. Most people in the US still think China is a nation of peasant farmers in a rice paddy. We need to increase honest communication between the people of the world. The internet may be that end. Americans are good people but we do not always make the best choices. I challenge everyone to make a friend over seas and be less divisive.
I am Korean and these are what we are doing here.
1. Test & Medical care for Free (It does not matter if you are Korean or foreigner or illegal immigrant or tourist.)
Government provide free test&care service if you have any symptom. This is not waste of tax, but for protect ourselves.
2. Everyone put mask on their face (We experienced the shortage of mask, but we made a system that 1 person can buy only 2 masks per week at any pharmacy in the country.
3. Hand Sanitizer everywhere. (In the House, Lobby, Subway, Elevator, School, Office. etc)
4. Government announce twice a day the new cases & share the information where and when they visited and isolate them all.
(Government send you an emergency text message if there were any new cases in your city and share the exact information)
5. Minimize to go to hospital for other patients and medical staff.
6. We do not “PANIC BUYING” and this is really important.
We have taken various measures, such as closing schools and telecommuting, but we live as usual.
This is for all of us.
7. Government and Medical experts educate people and citizens are following the rules.
8. Government pays living expenses to people in isolation and subsidizes closed stores.
South Korea has 2nd ranked in hospital beds per 1000 people, but we have experienced the SHORTAGE of BED at the beginning.
