@jacksparrow 99.9% of them will never qualify for asylum. Having a kid and/or being poor is not asylum worthy. Nor is it “seeking asylum” when you go out of your way to try and not be seen crossing illegally. To be looking for asylum is to go to the government directly and ask, citing your reason. Meanwhile the cuban people, who do qualify for asylum, are being told by the biden administration “go away we don’t want you”.

He promised the American people that abuse law was passed there would be no more need for amnesty in our immigration problem would be solved.
