@Gimpygladiator – I agree Trump was being tested twice a day and so they could act immediately. I also believe they used antibodies from recovered patients and they are not doing this with normal patients for reasons I do not understand.
Equally, he may not have even had it. In the UK Boris Johnson got a popularity jump after being hospitalised and recovering from Covid. It is very possible they thought that if Trump got it and went into the hospital and played strong man afterwards he would get a pre-election jump and win.
