  1. I guess we’re just gonna pretend that China (a country with billions of people) aren’t lying about their covid numbers.

    1. I think everyone has pretty much agreed that China is 100% lying about their numbers…no one actually believes their bs.

    1. Hmm is also weird that flu deaths have dropped to nearly zero during this pandemic even know we have been testing forthem even more

    1. There is a study or notes by the British women who , discovered this virus in the 1960s. maybe the answer is from her studies of this virus ,I read in the British newspaper yesterday. I hope it is

    1. @richard alvarado So, tell me, how did a Gene from HIV wind up attached to a New Corona virus? Giving the disease the unfortunate ability to lay dormant for years, until it reappears, expressing itself as full blown aids? Just a guess on my part, but, the HIV Gene must have been inserted, then, after something went wrong with the unexpected insertion, it mutated into a new disease. Sounds like it was created to me.

    2. @Bubbascuba I did not say Sars was created in a lab. You are pretty loose with the stupid word, aren’t you? I assume you have a lot of experience with stupid? No, don’t answer, it’s a trick question.

  2. Love From New Zealand your president needs a lesson from our PM we focus on humans rather than economy

    1. A larger, wealthier population should have the services that reflect it. If anything, having a higher population should mean a more effective service, rather than using it as an excuse.

    2. Whatsupwithsam…I’ve never seen a ford Pinto in the Indianapolis 500 race….you people serve Vienna sausage on pizza and you want to talk about whose GREAT?.. YIKES

    1. @Thaydarin Prove that they had that evidence and that it was definitive. It is documented the virus was identified 7 january, its dna sequenced 15 january for test manufacturing, the 23 january they found human to human transmission evidence. Show me those records you mention and that timeline, just to confirm we are living in the same world. Show me who told Trump not to close borders. When did Trump declare the national emergency?.

    2. @Juan Fran Why is it Covid-19? Coronavirus disease 2019. “Early on, many of the patients at the epicenter of the outbreak in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China had some link to a large seafood and live animal market, suggesting animal-to-person spread. Later, a growing number of patients reportedly did not have exposure to animal markets, indicating person-to-person spread. Person-to-person spread was subsequently reported outside Hubei and in countries outside China.” https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/summary.html

I would give you more sources but to be honest I don’t care if you believe me.. Just don’t trust the WHO or China.

    1. @blewprent What I thought that happened along time ago I’ve been suffering months but now it fine it got back to normal also on my other acc it was fine but this acc was diff

  3. We have 5 times more people than Italy also. The populations of our major cities total somewhere close to Italy’s entire population.

    1. The only thing that is important right now is infection rate. It makes no difference if a country has 60 million people or 400 million people while the virus is still growing, it is not like everyone is exposed uniformly at once. All that means is that there are more people to get infected later. I mean, whether 1% of a city or 10% of a city is infected, how is that useful information whatsoever if you don’t know the rate of infection, where it’s gonna stop, when it began? That’s just how exponential growth works.

    2. That’s doesn’t make the infected and dying anywhere close to better. And comparing to China, who has 1’409’000’000 people,..

      – Regardless, I hope it didn’t get out of hand. It really hit Italy and Spain hard. I hope it doesn’t come to this in the US too,..

    3. justanotherhandyman – can’t wait to hear your list of US cities with 60,000,000! Awesome geography and maths – I take it you’re another American that can’t afford college tuition? No shame in that, but it is politically fixable…

  4. corona gave me bad sleeping habits
go to “bed” (lay in bed until the time i wake up) : 5:00 am
    wake up : 8:00 am
    sleep : 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
    repeat

    1. @SolidSnakeGaming wow you must be perfect. Maybe keep your snotty childish remarks to yourself if you can’t be a decent person.

  5. There should be a class action law suit against the media for conspiracy to commit willful negligence against the general public during a national emergency.

    1. @Pro Gamer. From the WHO (World Health Organization) website “WHO Timeline – COVID-19”
      10 January 2020
WHO issued a comprehensive package of technical guidance online with advice to all countries on how to detect, test and manage potential cases, based on what was known about the virus at the time.
*Evidence at that time suggested there was “no or limited human-to-human transmission.”*
      22 January 2020
WHO mission to China issued a statement saying that there was evidence of human-to-human transmission in Wuhan but *more investigation was needed to understand the full extent of transmission.*
      11 March 2020
Deeply concerned both by the alarming levels of spread and severity, and by the alarming levels of inaction, WHO made the assessment that COVID-19 can be characterized as a pandemic.

    2. @Pro Gamer. NY Health Commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot quotes;
Feb 2, 2020: Barbot: “There is no reason not to take the subway, not to take the bus, not to go out to your favorite restaurant, and certainly not to miss the parade next Sunday.”
Feb 7, 2020: NYC Health Commissioner Oxiris Barbot: “We’re telling NYers, go about your lives, take the subway, go out, enjoy life”
      Feb 2020
“And so we know that this virus can be transmitted from one individual to another, but that it’s typically people who live together,”
“That there’s no risk at this point in time—we’re always learning more—about having it be transmitted in casual contact, right?”
Barbot tweeted: As we gear up to celebrate the # LunarYear in NYC, I want to assure NYers that there is no reason for anyone to change their holiday plans, avoid the subway, or certain parts of the city because of # coronavirus.
March 27, 2020: NYC health commissioner Barbot: “We know that there’s currently no indication that it’s easy to transmit by casual contact … We want NYers to go about their daily lives, ride the subway, take the bus, go see your neighbors.”

    3. @Pro Gamer. NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio quotes about Coronavirus;
Jan 2020 “It’s important just to go about your lives, continue living as you have”
Feb 2, 2020: “There is no reason not to take the subway, not to take the bus, not to go out to your favorite restaurant, and certainly not to miss the parade next Sunday.” DeBlasio
Feb 10, 2020: “We want to encourage” NYers going out. and
“If you’re under 50 & you’re healthy, which is most NYers, there’s very little threat here. This disease, even if you were to get it, basically acts like a common cold or flu. And transmission is not that easy,” de Blasio said at the time. DeBlasio
Feb 14, 2020: “This should not stop you from going about your life, should not stop you from going to Chinatown and going out to eat.” DeBlasio
March 2, 2020: press conference alongside NY Governor Andrew Cuomo:
“The facts are reassuring,” De Blasio added: “We have a lot of information now, information that is actually showing us things that should give us more reason to stay calm and go about our lives” normally.”
March 11, 2020: “the virus does not transmit through food and drink,” and “If you’re not sick, then you should be going about your life.”
April 2020 When asked about his previous statements of downplaying the virus, Bill Deblasio said: “But there’s no time to go back over that. There’s only time to focus on getting through the next week and the week after that.” and “we should not be focusing, in my view, on anything looking back on any level of government right now”

    4. @Pro Gamer. Feb 27, 2020 From The Guardian
“Please visit Chinatown’: coronavirus fears empty San Francisco district”
The historic neighborhood has seen business plummet as tourists stay away despite Nancy Pelosi insisting it is ‘very safe”
The concern was enough that the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, made a publicized stop this week in her home town’s Chinatown to implore people to “please come and visit and enjoy Chinatown”.
“We know that there is concern surrounding tourism, traveling all throughout the world, but we think it’s very safe to be in Chinatown and hope that others will come,” she said. “It’s lovely here.”

  6. For People pivoting to “Itally is smaller” and “China lies”: 1) Your real numbers are much higher considering the low testing per-capita (look it up). 2) You’re supposed to be the most powerful and rich country in the world. 3) You had PLENTY time to prepare and avoid most of those deaths… Compare to Germany (which was in the middle of the epicenter) if you don’t want to compare to China.

  7. 2000s’ – “We will have flying cars in the future.”

2020 – “ We are teaching people how to wash their hands.”
