    1. @Dominic Schaffner actually he did not destroy this time, he was mislead, and acted accordingly. When he found out where the error was, he reversed his tariff decision.

    2. @lo ko very cute, the raw material for aluminum, bauxite, does not exist in Canada. It is imported from Australia and other places by the foreigners who own the aluminum companies

    3. @anne-marie Andrews no Canadian owned company makes aluminum, they use our hydro and labour, but the owners and raw material are foreign .interests. Trudeau and team stood up for the aluminum workers of Canada in Quebec and British Columbia.

    1. Nope from now on, we should be stop relying so much on America for anything…Softwood, Aluminum and the fight for PPEs are clear examples.

    2. @Holy Milk I just watched a video about Trump backing off from something he threatened to do harm to many Canadian workers’ livelihood. So I gather from your statement that you will totally support some so called Canadian leader with American citizenship who would fold like a wet blanket to Trump’s every demand? Are you by any chance related to that Navarro (a special place in hell) guy? You might be disagree with Mr. Trudeau completely and it is your right to do so in a democratic country. But your name calling “Trudeau is garbage” is uncalled for and totally unacceptable in the company of polite Canadians.

    3. @Mike Davis yeah, well he’s too busy with other world leaders laughing at ‘President’ Trumps attempts to ‘Presidential’.

    1. @Janet Desmarais You hold Your breath, this is over, if you don’t know, and it had to be over because Canada did nothing wrong, but our team did very well

  1. It’s not surprising when you consider the fact import prices rose 0.9%, rather than the 0.5% they anticipated in August. The 0.7% rise reported in July has now been revised to 1.2%. Annualized import prices are surging by 13% a year. The American economy can not sustain another trade war right now.

    1. @Bobby Boucher Esq. In politics one thing rarely has to do with the other. It’s always about something else… but I guess if you think simply…

    2. @SMS wtf! All you have no idea how the world works. Edit. Maybe I took your comment the wrong way but the other two above are in denial, probably both work at a smelter, scared to say the truth in case they loose their job.

    3. @Bobby Boucher Esq. Trump power tripping… because he’s insecure. He wants to be a big boy like Putin but that’s not believable… so he’s bullying other countries. America is unstable.. and now, thanks to Trump… rapidly becoming the biggest ‘shithole’ country in the world.

  2. Why ship any raw product out of Canada? Manufacturer, refine and extrude it in Canada as higher value products. This will strengthen Canada and create more jobs.
