Or maybe because he was told that legal e-cigarette cartridges have to lead to 0 deaths. It is only black-market cartridges with vitamin e acetate in them that have lead to deaths. It is absolutely the right decision to back off the ban, it was a ban being lead by false information.

Bringing awareness to an issue and passing laws are very different. We have too much government already!
Yes, nicotine is an addictive drug.
But 80+% of vapers are ex-smokers or dippers which is 98% more hazardous because of various poisons and nitrosamines.
Regulate the liquids and check the vaping mods if you have to, like other countries. But only thru health regulations and not taxation. Bans are outdated, like the war on drugs.
The deaths and cases with health issues didn’t originate from a proper vape tool and clean liquid.
