Citizen Donald Trump’s money man Allen Weisselberg may have admitted to prosecutors that he received some of the very perks they are investigating in the criminal probe into the Trump Organization, according to The Washington Post. MSNBC’s Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber discusses the update in the case with Mother Jones’ David Corn, The New York Times’ columnist Michelle Goldberg, and political strategist Chai Komanduri. Komanduri discusses the unprecedented level of criminality within the Trump administration, asserting Trump “is basically a criminal.” The Trump Organization denies all allegations. (This interview is from MSNBC’s “The Beat with Ari Melber, a news show covering politics, law and culture airing nightly at 6pm ET on MSNBC. ).

*L I E…..Long island Expressway …..So much Irony!!!!*
@Jolliebearfor Christ Let me ask you, is Jesus our Savior’s name?
@Jolliebearfor Christ stop yelling at us!!!!
@Jolliebearfor Christ ZEUS IS THE GOD OF OLYMPUS AND WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN!
@Jolliebearfor Christ Jesus is Santa for those over six years old.
@Jolliebearfor Christ ODIN HAS SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THAT
The right to remain silent doesn’t apply to those who believe they are above the law.
@rhrh2025 lol Didn’t you watch the vid? This trumper has actually been charged with crimes and arrested, very much like too many people around and on behalf of trump have, and very much UNlike any of those you named.
“Demonrats”, says the believer of false prophets, false prophesy, and false messiahs. lol
@rhrh2025 diversion and whataboutism – the trolls are overactive tonight
@rhrh2025 1000 Republican morons who are leading us straight into fascism. The beauty of fascism is that all the dummies haven’t a clue that they are heading towards autocracy. Towards secret police, total surveillance, people fearing the midnight knock on their door, people being disappeared. Like the rats in the tale of the pied piper who were being led to the river to drown. Hmm, rats, eh sounds like Orangeman.
he had the right to remain silent, just not the ability.
@Dale Jolliffe He sung because he really believes the justifications for greed that he has employed for *years* . This attitude develops, it doesn’t come out of a vacuum.
If those loose lips of his are because he understands the reality of what he is about to undergo, trump is in BIG trouble.
@Yvette Baca you sure put a lot of words in my mouth.
Can you dispute the fact that mail in voting is less secure than in person voting. Can you dispute the fact the most democracies in the world don’t allow mail in voting.
I am personally in favor of a week long national holiday every 2 years for our federal elections. Making sure every vote can correctly and securely be cast is important.
@Will Peyton im asking mostly and giving my options based on what you said, in no way is it meant to put words in your mouth.
Yes it’s less secure but its not completely a fraud. I lost my car a year ago and im disabled, i voted by mail in 2020, i had to put my DL # when I registered on the city website and on the mail in ballot.
I did see a good number of people voting in person going back in different clothing, hats and sunglasses voting twice using a different ID. Personally I don’t see the difference between cheating on mail or cheating in person, that should be looked at aswell, but i don’t see many saying there is a problem with that.
@Yvette Baca so you are saying you personally witnessed voter fraud from in person voting but you couldn’t get out to vote in person your self.
Did you report it. If not you should have.
All voter fraud should be looked into.
I am of the belief that there should be more checks and balances in the voting process and we should audit all elections to make sure that every vote gets properly counted and that every eligible voter gets to vote.
As we have seen in this last election leaving room for doubt is problematic.
@Will Peyton personally no I did not see that, what happened to dont put words in others mouth?
Robert Lynn, Berry Morphew, Bruce Bartmen, i actully can’t find the others at the moment. Funny that the people caught commiting voter fraud we’re voting for trump.
@Will Peyton oh that evidence. All had been thoroughly explained /debunked. I thought maybe you had something I hadn’t researched.
If thats a problem buy a apartment with your 1 billion wealth. The most BS argument i ever heard.
So I guess I should also get a tax free room at the hotel I work for then
@Bianca Culpo because they are shoddily built.
@goodbodha im not lawyer, but if thats the way they are going. They would be trying to prove he is not mentally capable of standing trial. It wouldnt matter if he previously was capable. (again not a lawyer and not sure, but i think thats the rule?)
You aren’t sure what money laundering is
@beerprayer The thing is it isn’t easy to show someone is so incompetent they cant stand trial or help in their defense. My understanding is that they have to had either an event recently that altered their state of mind, a history of documented mental decline, or be examined by the court and found incompetent.
Mild dementia wont prevent him from providing a defense. The level at which dementia is going to come into play would be if he doesnt pass some basic cognitive tests. Based upon personal family experience that failure to pass is way past the point you think it is. The family issue involved someone who repeats the same talking points within a minute or so, forgets the conversation within 5 minutes or so and rarely ever remembers what they had to eat for the last 2 meals. It would however likely factor into sentencing duration or where they stash him while behind bars.
this being a first offense if convicted he would get a relatively light sentence to begin with. A mild dementia diagnosis might make it lighter, but it will also likely put in in a minimum security medical setting. Think assisted living behind bars.
Considering the strength of the existing evidence unless it is tossed out over a technicality he is going to be found guilty. So really all the posturing is going to be about how long of a sentence and under what conditions. His lawyers surely realize that and assuming they are competent they should be doing everything possible to work that angle.
Instead of draining the swamp, trump brought the swamp!! Then nuclear powered it!!!
Real estate swindlers never actually drain swamps. They just tell buyers they’re going to do it and pre-sell houses.
AMEN U.SAID IT!! Trumoturd made the swamp even.POOPIER!
💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
He did drain the swamp…….and then inserted a sewer in its place.
@Mario Romero ROTFLMBO!!! 😂😂😂😂
He drained the swamp and hired everything he found in it. Evidence: see retrumplikkkans.
Imagine if they stuck some truth serum into his arm what he’d say…
Or Wonder Woman’s golden lasso…get to the truth!
12 year old scotch would help
@Justa Root he might like that
@West Park Hannity for water boarding !
Or Wonder Women’s truth lasso
That reminds me of an old “bit” by comedian Ron White where he says, while getting arrested for being drunk and disorderly in a bar, that “he knew he had the right to remain silent, he just didn’t have the ability”!
tater salad
“Hey, I’ve been thrown out of worse dives than this!”
I don’t like you anymore
People like him think there will never be consequences
there usually never are – if Trump had not run for president – do you think they would have as much scrutiny ? sad but true
@pntngbrn, He thinks there will be no consequences, because there won’t be any. None of these Trump crooks have spent more than a year in jail and they’re a 100x richer than they started.
@Sean Byrd let’s hope so
@PJ Predhomme
Good question.
I’d guess that would depend on who’s toes he stepped on.
This is a show nothing will happen.
I was hoping they would play that Simpsons clip. I was not disappointed.
THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN IS JESUS CHRIST!
(HERE IS THE GOSPEL MESSAGE OF JESUS CHRIST) JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS AND HE WAS BURIED AND HE ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY BY FAITH IN GOD’S SON THE LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST AND JESUS CHRIST ONLY SALVATION SHALL BE YOURS AND ETERNAL LIFE WITH GOD IN HEAVEN WILL AWAIT YOU WHEN YOU DIE THE BIBLE JOHN CHAPTER 3 VERSES 16 THROUGH 21 AS WELL AS 1ST CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 VERSES 1 THROUGH 5 THE BIBLE
@Jolliebearfor Christ What does that have to do with this video?
@Jolliebearfor Christ stop spamming here.
The Homer bit was once again the most representative of the situation.
The Simpsons are always the best reflection of cult 45.😁
Homer Simpson v X45
Colour = tied. X45’s skin is orange, but he’s a yellow coward…
Obesity = tied
Intelligence = Homer wins
Courage = tied
Dress sense = tied
Delusion = tied
Honesty = tied
Charm = tied
Financial success = Homer wins
Literacy = tied
Irrational self-belief = tied
Professional competence = tied
Speech = tied
Reationships with women: Homer wins
Finish it yourself… I’ve already understood that there’s not going to be a winner unless it’s Homer. Youpiiiii! America would have done at least as well if a yellow cartoon character had moved into the WH instead of X45.
They may look alike, but Homer is definitely the better Man.
@TOWM LVB Likeability = Homer wins 4 fingered hands down
So we’re one of the two criminals on Home Alone 2.
I’m telling you, we need to keep GUANTANAMO open for a bit longer….
Got them? Idk. I hate guantanamo.
Yes we do send all of trump and his lackes over there
First need to free the innocent ppl that are locked there.
Send Everyone involved in Jan. 6th !!
Hey Allen Weisselberg, welcome to what the rest of American worker’s deal with every single day.
@Ravonda
Exactly wth⁉️🤡💩🎪
can’t they all get some free accommodation near their work? Why cry for bread when they should have cake??? They must be stupid…🤦🏻♂️
And most don’t have a “company” Mercedes to do it in.
@Lesley Edgley
That he also didn’t file properly for….
Hahahahaha. These poor poor people’s tales of oh woe is me are heartbreaking eh⁉️🤡🦇💩🤪🎪
@Joni Beehive Yep. Oh sooo sad. Boo hoo hoo.😁😁😁
Somehow I don’t think Weaselberg EVER drove himself to work.
Good point
😆 LOL
He had a driver.
🙄🤣😂🤣😂🙂Weaselberg..🤣😂🙂💕funneee!!!
Such an inconvenience to be driven to work.
I’m so poor I couldn’t even imagine being driven to work, I only think of what awesome vehicles I would drive.
When you stop and think about it, his only crime was breaking the law.
That doesn’t mean he did anything illegal.
😆😆😆😆👍
@Leonard Weisfeld “illegal” by definition, is breaking the law.
Guilty.
@Jack Boot Of course. I was adding on to the exact same joke at the top of the thread, that his only crime was breaking the law.
@Leonard Weisfeld Guilty.
“Commute to work from Long Island is difficult.” Tell that to the tens of thousands who take the LIRR and transfer to MTA subway to go to work.
His critical responsibility of money guy, crimer, at the tump criminal conspiracy org demanded his ease of transport and minimization of wasted commute time.
🤷🏽♂️🤦♀️🦇💩🤪‼️
Long limo ride.
@Rodney Smart
Doh mobile live much? Plenty perform all sorts of tasks while traveling. He could’ve moved closer or filed and paid legally but chose not too. Who’s fault is that?
Tell that to those of us who had to take 3 busses to work…while pregnant and suffer from motion sickness.
F’n entitled A-holes!
@Lisa Welch
We’re they immaculate conceptions?
CFO wants to spend his “golden years” with family. Rather than the new family he would receive behind bars.
What It Means Is…. He Is Guilty… Probably Of A Ton More Than Just This Single Indictment!!!
You saw my previous proove me wrong
He choose where to live; doesn’t justify cheating on his taxes.
Allen Weisselberg thinks he’s Trump and can just talk his way out of everything.
Maybe he has a guilty conscience & wants to come clean, about all he knows. 🤷♀️🤔
I think it is slowly dawning on him that the tide is turning. That is what I think is happening. Easy to ACT BIG and be TOUGH GUY until you realize you are about to go to jail.
A narcissist doesn’t have the ability to remain silent.
