@Joyce Duncan as a nurse practitioner I try to avoid politics and just be there to listen to my patients. Over the last six months I can UNEQUIVOCALLY say that when my patients start talking about politics when they ask me about Covid, the trump supporter people just seem so grounded, reasonable, and willing to discuss issues in a reasonable manner, while Trump “haters” (literal) seem to exhibit many symptoms of mental illness. Pressured speech, nonsensical statements, paranoia, when asked to explain get very angry and irritable, high state of anxiety and emotional angst. It’s very troubling to watch. My comment to you is what I tell my patients. Please unplug and focus on your mental health and well-being. For yours and your family’s sake. Rachel maddow does not care about what happens to you and your family. She is serving her own interests which do nothing for you and your family. I hope you don’t have children bc I can tell you they are in pain watching you in this state. Take care now.

Truly agree. @Andrew Gause my pastor is a very wise man. He taught me to read The Bible like you eat fish: you eat the meat and discard the bones. The Bible is a book written by humans, thus there will be faults in it, regardless of divine inspiration. In addition, the New Testament is really the only part Christians should regard. OT is just there for reference purposes.

From most of the accounts that I remember from reading the Bible – most of the time when Jesus went out to spread the word to the people, he and his followers were outdoors.
People can gather together on social media to talk about religion face to face in real time.
Pastors, Reverends, etc. can post their sermons on YouTube or other media.
If people want to get together at the same time to pray and sing together, they can hold a live online event.
People can even donate online if they want.
But that information will most likely be recorded.
And if they talk about politics, then are breaking the separation of Church and State, and it is proof that they are acting as a political body – which is taxable.
Obviously, a church like the one talked about here doesn’t want to leave proof that their tax exempt status should be removed.
Praise the creator all you want tax-free.
Claim that your religion says that one group of politicians is “right”, it’s time for that Church to pay taxes.
